A few musings - sorry won't let me multiquote.
Was barely aware of TW before Strictly - knew of J a bit. Have learnt more about TW on this thread from interviews, though don't go very deep. Agree with
jayfan that a 'put together' group would be lucky to stay together indefinitely.
Agree too with
Agrion that Nathan seems different in some ways. Being younger would make a difference at the beginning as he couldn't socialise. He'll have a different outlook as he went to stage school from quite a young age - the same one as Kellie? Have read he did Music A Level whilst touring in the early days. Remember seeing an interview, just after his operation, where the others joked about not needing him - and Nathan looked upset for a second. I do think he has a good voice - think they all do - and yours is super J!
Love to hear the TW sing acoustically or acapella - something I've learned from this thread
Though The Wanted Life isn't for me, it gained 1 million+ viewers, so perhaps it gave them a bit of a financial base? Have no idea on TW finances - that's their business - but they seem, as someone put it, to have a 'few more pennies' than most people in their 20's, so seem to have the freedom to be a bit more flexible in what they do and where they live. (Am not suggesting they're millionaires!

)
J in the USA? He said to Jayfan (was it you? ) on the Strictly Tour that he lived in the USA, he's lived there for several years and nipped home every so often (got sunburn from building a wall for CBC - think he'd forgotten the UK can be sunny

), he said last autumn that however he did in Strictly he'd stay here until Christmas - which implied he'd go back for a while at least.
I wonder if J hadn't done so well in Strictly

and hadn't been paired with A

and if his family hadn't got on so well with A and V as they do

that J might have gone back to the USA and just visited here occasionally as before. He seems to have built a life there - and as
Lola and
ahouch have said, he's perhaps gone back to TW support network there in preparation for his busy Autumn and Winter back here!
Been watching an interesting TV programme on dancing Swan Lake. Someone has said - sorry, can't remember who - that J would be great in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. Gosh, he would too!

. Wonder though, if to dance at that level you'd not have time to do anything else - and J loves to sing too

.
Several people have said that the success of J and A has probably caught them all by surprise - and don't think that last year J expected to win or even get near the end of Strictly

, so suspect all plans have changed since last year - in a very good way!
