Please Jay sir pretty please *shuffles feet* if you're reading can we have a sign you're ok and happy (and preferably coming home soon to do some dancing, training acting and singing with a bit of promotion / appearing on Lorraine/graham Norton / Alan Carr/the One Show thank you thank you 🙏🏼 In other other news, I'm getting a bit stressed I might have a slipped disc in my neck. I've pain in my arm and numbness in my thumb. Worried. Hey up duck (hello friend, mate, pet - 'duck' is more like 'mate' around here - it's not patronising at all) Please could you give us a sign? 'a sign, a sign' - like the 'eyeballs in the sky' ![]() (suspect he might have read that in the newspaper as a kid - as a child) You might have got a bit kaylied at t'weekend and you maybe felt a bit badly, but it's summat and nowt - lads and lasses do go out with their mates . We understand ![]() (might have had a little bit too much to drink and maybe felt a bit ill, but it doesn't matter - young people do go out with their friends) We know the weather here 'as bin more like back end, and tomorro' it might look a bit bad over Bill's mother's, but it is getting better and warmer. (weather has been more like Autumn, and thunder clouds are approaching ) So you could come back to be on TV or radio and have nice weather and not feel nesh (cold) Any road, don't be mardy Please let us know you are alright Ta muchly ![]() (anyway, don't be - there's no translation for mardy) Thank you very much Or maybe he's gone to the USA to escape the football, even Aliona's got involved ![]() PS hope your arm is OK jnb |

This has been bugging me for days...I was sure I'd heard Jay mention Redone (the music producer and creator of the video with Jay and Aliona together) before but couldn't remember where. I didn't realise it was so long ago but he talks about wanting to work with him in this interview. Also, the origin of #WantedWednesday and other bits n bobs.
https://youtu.be/_Us0oUeKAv0 Missing him so much...come on Jay, get in touch.

Hey guys back again, missed you all very much but have been keeping up with everything, want to say how emotional I am right now, Aliona's just tweeted some of her very rare appearances in dance routines during strictly and they were always my favourite due to a certain someone finally getting a chance to actually star in one. She certainly is and will always be the best dancer she was heads and shoulders above the rest of the pros anyone can see that surely. I remember sitting at home and anxiously waiting to see whose going to be dancing the results show routine today, fat chance it'll be Aliona but when she did appear in that titanium routine I got of my seat and actually had a little sob. I don't understand why they wouldn't let their best dancer star in some of the routines she hardly had a role last year was pretty much the Clifton's and their two besties... 😐😕 Which after a while I did basically skip an just re watched on you tube to see if Aliona did make an appearance. Anyways how have you guys been??

I love Aliona's hair shorter as in these....and the Titanium dance (second link) is fab
Aliona certainly knows how to be lifted and look seemingly weightless ![]() Unfortunately there is no HD video of the Titanium dance. It showed that she has the most complete CV for a program like Strictly - she can do it all extremely well. |

Hi Whiffle
I am trying to add your lovely dance description with pics to the one word collation. I haven't included any of yours or anyone's stupendous reviews but could go back and put page a post numbers as with CatO. If it would help I can repost with links to the pics individually instead of to a single document ( was trying to save having to click on individual links )Hope everyone is ok weatherwise |

I've probably confused people asking for Twitter names;
In my position as Member of the No. 1 Jalionista Sista Detective Agency (licensed to stalk 😜 I therefore deduce Jay either has lost his phone / it doesn't work in the USA (but he has access to an iPad/laptop) OR he's gone under the radar OR he's too busy to tweet (but not too busy to unfollow a few people) Please Jay sir pretty please *shuffles feet* if you're reading can we have a sign you're ok and happy (and preferably coming home soon to do some dancing, training acting and singing with a bit of promotion / appearing on Lorraine/graham Norton / Alan Carr/the One Show thank you thank you 🙏🏼 In other other news, I'm getting a bit stressed I might have a slipped disc in my neck. I've pain in my arm and numbness in my thumb. Worried. Yes, come on Jay, if it's fit for public consumption! BIB - don't know if you've ever tried homeopathy (cue tuts and sighs) but when I had a frozen shoulder, causticum was the only thing that gave me any relief - it's not a cure, but saved a lot of pain killers/anti-inflamatories which didn't actually work anyway. Yes - her transitions are part of what makes her a great partner. Makes her partner look good. She doesn't weigh much, but she makes herself seem even lighter when she dances.

Thanks for the link, speedy. That could have been even more interesting if the music hadn't been so intrusive - thought at first it was just me and my elderly ears but then I read the comments. ![]() ![]() I did exercise some restraint there...I've had another YT clip at the top of my shortlist for some time but every time I view it I think of thread sensitivities and hold back. I think it's good fun and meteorologically topical (depending on where you live of course) but others might not like the laddishness.

Due to start again at school pick-up! About to post my latest contribution to the colaborjaytion with Lola. Apologies if it's too long. I've just realised that I didn't post a review of the first Quickstep so it can double up as that too. Whiffle - loved your one word review with pictures, as did little Miss ahouch. She read the words instead of her usual reading book yesterday. Synchronisation was a bit of a push for a 6 year old though! |

The 'Who'dunnit
'I feel like a right idiot in this'. He adjusts his mortar board as they wait for the music to begin.
'Just play their game Jay. Do exactly what we did in rehearsals and everything will be fine. This song, these outfits. All Good'. And so it begins, selfies through gritted teeth and running the length of the dance floor as they disrobe. He catches an odd smell in his nostrils as he does so. What is that? A bit of Charleston towards Aliona and then they are in hold. But there is something strange. The floor doesn't feel the same as it did in rehearsal. Something is off. Tearing up the dance floor like two thoroughbreds. They bounce, and fly through the air. He catches a glimpse of the judges in the corner of his eye. Too-white smug grins. Why? But suddenly it all changes. He slips and slides on landing from a difficult piece of choreography. He recovers and continues. But it happens again and again. Is it his shoes? The floor? Something's a foote. Georgia May?.. By now they are wildly out of time with each other. Their heads morph slowly into the images of two painted carousel ponies. One rising as the other falls. 'This isn't going so well Jay,' she whispers through gritted teeth, 'keep going, keep going.' They stumble to the end, exhausted but relieved to have survived. They hug, he whispers in her ear 'Somethings wrong Ali. That should never have happened'. He leans down and touches the surface of the dancefloor. It is covered in a fine liquid film. He rubs the substance between his fingers and then smells it. That strange aroma is baby oil mixed with fake tan. That could have done some serious damage. Sabotage. Someone's got it in for them. Someone wants the Strictly title and is desperate enough to take drastic measures to do so. They feel an invisible target appear on their backs, or is it just a spotlight as they walk towards the judges? Those once petrified faces now show a new smug resolve. The competition is back on, the story arc restored. They return to their scripted persona's. In the shadows of the studio a faint but familiar shuffle bull change can be heard. Focussing on where the noise came from the only things visible are shiny black shoes, protruding chin and pearly whites. The figure turns and disappears into the darkness - Brucie? Anton? They run to the Clauditorium welcomed by cheers, applause and sympathetic smiles. Everyone pats them on the back, or is it stabs them? They scan the room around them, looking for tells. It could have been anyone. A fellow contestant? A pro? Production? A judge? Tess or Claudia? Just who can they trust? Scores received they exit the studio and walk down the corridor past the glitterball trophy now encased in glass with extra security. They thought after last week it was theirs. But it seems someone has other plans for them. Playing by the rules this week hasn't worked, someone else is already breaking them. Aliona channels her inner Bond villain. She arches one eyebrow and whispers conspiratorially; 'Time for a new plan Jamesik...' |

Now it always rains just after I've got changed into my gardening clothes and have wrestled the mower from the shed. Gotta love UK weather...there's aways something to talk about. ![]() Quote:

Hi
Just been on 24/7 and didn't realise there was so much fuss going on about the posts on there To be frank much worse photos do still circulate from TW days. I really don't see the problem with a group of young friends enjoying an evening out by having a convivial drink. That being said, I got a message from one of Jay's friends today, saying she is on my side and sees nothing wrong with the pics and believes Jay won't mind either, since there's nothing wrong and the material is public for everyone. It surprised me because I hadn't told her anything about the subject, so it was really nice to read that
