There was a rumour in one of the papers that the Xtra factor would be hosted by Rochelle and Rylan

Amazing Panel. This is the best panel they have ever had in my opinion.

The 4 judges have a average age of 50+....yet they are looking for a 2017 popstar....will viewers still tune in to see people older than their parents argue about pop music....

Not happy about this. Especially Sharon and Louis had their time on the show in my opinion. Who will audition infront of this "old" people to get the chance of a career in music? The last season with Louis and Sharon was so boring with a boring winner. Looks more like a farewell season this year. If they don't boost ratings who will on the panel next year? Simon, Dannii, Cheryl and Louis? I may not watching the whole season.

It's no different than A&R and CEO's from the big record labels like Epic Records (L.A Reid, 59) or Interscope Records (Jimmy Iovine, 63).

Well they've tempted me to come back and see what's happening after last year's mess, not overly fussed on sharon but she works well with the other judges and at least has more to say than rita ora

Hope it goes back to its original format of more live shows and not weeks and weeks of auditions.

they did change the judging panel in 2015 because x factor flop in 2014 aswell .
so its not just last year

I was ok with 2014, yes it wasn't vintage but at least mel b had some character, they never tinkered with the judges houses format, there were more live shows so the whole thing felt better as a whole

well the early poll on DS shows 54% of the people happy with the line up.
which is promising for the upcoming series as last year the early poll showed 1% of the people were happy with the ora/grimshaw line up

Personally, I would never have had Sharon or Louis back.

I would have liked Simon, Nicole, Dannii and someone like Olly or Robbie.

Nicole was amazing if not slightly too crazy ... but she was fab.

Dannii imo is the best judge x factor they have ever had.

Sharon was so boring last time and brings nothing to the show.

Louis should have been axed and stayed axed years ago!

i agree for the most part, however Louis must ALWAYS be a part of the panel, yes he can be loathesome at times, but i think he is actually more crucial to the show than Simon himself! and i think thats been proven during the time Simon was away. he has a knack of winding up the other panel members, whoever they are, and thats reason enough for him to stay
there are just some shows that need their main character to survive, and Louis is X Factors main character.
Sharon i dont get though, i found her very dull and out of touch on her last stint.

The most obvious panel there ever was but I'm pleased - I like all 4 of judges so I can't complain! We should have a good bit of comedy and banter between the 4 of
Them hopefully they will put it back to where it was a few years ago!

I must admit I haven't watched since the first few live shows of 2013, but I'm looking at this line up and thinking of giving it a go.

cannot bear louis walsh and was so happy he was gone last year. to be honest i don't think any judging lineup is the key to saving this show, audiences just don't care anymore. i don't know what it was that made series 7 so good but it has consistently gone downhill every year from then. ella henderson was the last person i rooted for, no other contestant has really wowed me since her and that is probably what the problem is.

I think that panel works well together, and I think that's more important than individuals. There's no drama over competition between the female judges as they are so different, and the bickering between Simon and Louis will be amusing even if it gets annoying at times.

Although I said the whole is more important than the sum of its parts, I am delighted that Nicole is back.

Nicole is the only one I'd want to see on the panel. Dermot returning is good too. Simon, Sharon and Louis - horrid. Talent dependent of course, but I don't think there'll be much improvement in the ratings.

Agree with you. If it was up to me I would keep Nicole, and get rid of the other three clowns.

digital spy readers i believe were happy with the 2014 line up back in 2014, but the ratings did not improve , it must be to do that people want the show axed

they could move the show to "Dave" with this panel as it'll be just like watching repeats anyway considering how predictable the so-called banter is going to be

Are the auditions gonna be in the rooms again or in front of a live audience
