I'm happy with this lineup, it's just got a bit of everything! Sharon and Louis are hilarious, Nicole is odd, but in a good way. I just can't wait to see the relationship between Simon and Sharon...
Many comments from old fans saying they'll watch it again, something that was quite the opposite last year. Could be a good year for the show!
Apparently Louis and Sharon bagged 6 figure deals, which is quite low don't you think? Conscidering she got paid £1.5m in 2013, or something like that

I will defo tune in, I always liked the friendship between sharon and louis and Nicole was great, anyone is better than cheryl IMO 
Yes, yes, yes! ADORE Sharon and Louis! Only improvement I would have made would be Dannii instead of Nicole.
Issue with Dannii is whilst she's probably quite friendly with Simon, it'll be through her agent. I doubt they'd want to be seen together week in, week out, and have to work together. She's busy doing other shows anyway.

No it's been rumoured got months but today it was actually confirmed
Will be fascinating to me what nicole will be like around Simon, seeings as he's very much the boss, shes very determined and seemed to take the mantle of the boss during her last uk stint, but wonder if being with Simon will make her more like her xf usa stint, quiet as a mouse, I presume she will be sitting alongside him

Nicole was Simons 'eyes and ears' when she was last on the show, she very much was the 'boss' (as much as she could be). Nicole was brilliant alongside Simon and Louis during her 2010 UK stint where she filled in for Dannii and Cheryl during the auditions and boot camp. In the US she wasn't great but that panel was just awful anyway and she isn't that popular on the US, so maybe she just felt she had to try harder.

my issue with this panel, and the show in general, is where is the creative edge, where is the judge that can spot a genuine talent that can bring something different to the music industry. they are the embodiment of mass produced, generic, manufactured, MoR pop.

It's got to the point where it's not about finding something different now - it's about trying to stabilise the show as a television franchise. They tried going young and each panel failed worse than the last... except for, arguably, Nicole - Gary - Sharon - Louis in 2013.

can only speak for myself but i watch the show in the hope that they will find someone "different", someone to get excited about as a singer. not to watch the panel make inane cliches and see a bunch of soul-less, generic wannabes churn out the same old songs.
thats where the show has gone wrong, we have seen it all before and going back to this panel just perpetuates that problem.

Not at all really, ratings were fine until Series 8 and then it started to go downhill. This was due to the change's of the judge's. Every series since then has had constant changes and a constant rating decline. In comparison BGT & SCD have had the same panel for some time now and both have had steady ratings and neither of which have had major overhauls or changes like X Factor has had.

i would argue that BGT and SCD are aimed at a different audience from XF however, or at least it tries to be
