What do you mean, he looks the type? I'm genuinely interested in why you think that as Andy beat up Jo and they look nothing alike, including the way they dress, mannerisms etc. Is there actually a type?

Pearse will end up as some wife beating psycho or something on these lines, Paddy will come to Rhonas rescue in the end and it will pave the way for them to unite. This is how i predict the storyline.

I dont like Paddy, he is easily a character i would love to see killed off.

It's just a turn of phrase.

I thought he meant from watching his behaviour he looks the type, not in regards to physical appearance. Which if he did I would agree men who hit women isn't usually about losing their temper it's about controlling them. That is how the Andy and jo story was initially he didn't want her "stepping out of line" letting Debbie see Sarah or her getting close to other men like lee. It's been changed to anger issues as it makes him easier to redeem but I can definitely see pierce using aggression to get rhona to behave how he wants

Another thing what actually is Pierce's profession/occupation, because he supposedly took Rakesh's job which would make him a solicitor and why would he just be able to walk into Rakesh's job anyway, something about that just doesn't add up?

Agreed. It's been made so obvious it doesn't add up as well. Have to say I'm interested to find out. Good to see Rhona centre stage.

Zoe Henry would be amazing in an Abuse Storyline.

He's totally sexy and is great with Rhona but there's something slightly depraved about him imo. I think it's the way Jonathan is playing him but I see serial killer all over him

Maybe Pierce is going to befriend Marlon as well and take all of Paddy's friends away from him?
Saving his ultimate revenge for when Paddy actually returns to the village.

Yes, you just feel like he could snap and change at any moment from nice to really nasty. Like he's only just keeping control.

Single White Female stylee? Could be. Though Marlon doesn't seem to like him much.

Yes, it's a bit of a switch from us all suspecting Tess of it.
I thought they were getting on especially well at the dinner party. (albeit in a forced unnatural way. But hey, what can you expect with Emmerdale at the moment?)

I wonder what the "emotional", "honest" and "real" storyline will be for Rhona at the end of the year? Domestic abuse or something?

I really like Rhona with Pierce too, and think her character has got a bit of spark back being with him. Pierce is really sexy and mysterious too which I'm a big fan of I wouldn't like the writers to make him an out and out panto villiain, but an assertive guy with an edge with shades of good and bad.

Didn't Tess used to complain about how Pierce never wanted children?

Perhaps he has a problem with Leo in the future?

Or Rhona falls pregnant and he has a big problem with it?

She did a stalker storyline when she was in Corrie years ago.

Well the Daily Mirror was teasing 'Death in the Dales' the other day so maybe the events in October will have something to do with Pierce

But remember this is the Daily Mirror we're talking about so it's more than likely a load of rubbish made up from a innocent comment someone has made XD

Pierce is showing every sign of being a stalker. It won't end well. The thing is, though, that I find myself strangely indifferent regarding the final outcome for Rhona. Leo, if not collateral damage, will end up back with Marlon full time, I suppose, and Paddy will return to run the Vets with Vanessa. Pierce, if not dead, will be carted off by PC swirling and company, cackling manically.

Can't wait 😐

I agree with this and can't really understand why he's seen as the bad guy. He's recently lost his wife in a hit and run and found out she'd been having an affair too. Can't really blame him for his behaviour towards Vanessa and Rakesh. Anyone in his shoes would be desperate to find Kirin. Really gone off Vanessa for not being more sympathetic towards him and not being more understanding of his and Rhona's relationship.

Whatever happens I'll always be on his side, he's absolutely gorgeous!

Emmerdale seems to have a thing about deranged fruitcakes running amok in the village.

Indeed, and as lovely as Pierce is to look at, he clearly isn't playing with a full deck of cards.

I remember him going completely OTT at Tess's funeral and suspected then that we had a good 'un but little did I realise that the man is a complete psycho. The way Tess spoke of him and yet his clear oblivion to her lack of affection for him and mourning her as if they were love's young dream. And now, he's stepped comfortably and effortlessly into Paddy's shoes and bed...This guy is going to go full on nuclear crazy to get his revenge and I say bring it on.

Surely the fact he seems to have got over his beloved Tess being killed so quickly should have alarm bells ringing loud and clear with Rhona, one minute he is overcome with grief for his dead wife running around demanding the truth and the next he is jumping into bed with Rhona and almost declaring his undying love for her, people really need to start looking a little deeper than good looks the bloke is obviously a psycho and a creepy one at that.
