I can't remember what Pierce said exactly, but the scene in David's shop where he told her not to say something, Is this the first sign of him becoming controlling later on?
I could see Pierce totally taking over Paddy's old life with Rhona, and then when he returns he will kill her so that Paddy suffers the way he did when Tess died. He's pretty good so far, a bit unhinged but still unpredictable. I agree him and Emma could be an interesting nightmare!
I'm convinced now after seeing those counselling scenes tonight that Pierce is going to turn controlling. I think it will be an interesting story to explore.

I would like to see him receive therapy and become part and parcel of the village.
If every other criminal in the village can remain and be redeemed then so can Pearce who aside from having a temper hasn't really done much in comparison.
