I think the Pat / Peggy one was fantastic.

I liked the hallucination where Stacey thought she could see the baby she aborted.

Val and Eric. It was a nice surprise as it had never been disclosed prior to the airing. It was lovely, funny and heartbreaking.

I liked the one where Chas saw Robert bleeding as a hallucination during her PTSD storyline , I think it was interesting for them to show. (Emmerdale)

16:23 Clive's Christmas dream - I remember watching this with my family. My Dad always complained about watching Neighbours, so you can imagine the scene with my Dad denouncing it as stupid and me and my brother cringing with embarrassment.

That has to be the most bizarre scene in any soap - at least outside the USA

One Life to Live had the best one When Rae dreamed that she was called to consult at a mental hospital where several characters had been committed and all of them believed they were their character's rival and had the clothes and hair of their rival to match . The best part had to be when Todd believed he was his sister Viki and then started turning into her alternate personalities.

I'd love to see Coronation Street or Emmerdale do something like this.

When Jack Sugden reappeared to Diane after his funeral in Emmerdale especially as the actor had died in real life so it was a nice touch

As already mentioned Pat appearing to Peggy before the latter's death. It was nicely done and not, IMO, the slightest bit contrived. It just felt very natural.

The one in EE where Jane or Ian were driving the car to Walford Common and a ghostly Lucy appears in front of them

I don't think we saw Lucy, just a flashback of Jane in the car. The strange thing I remember about that (it was the Christmas Day episode) is that Jane is in her wedding dress - so it's not an actual flashback as such.

Agree!

I actually thought she'd faked her death

Ohh that was a good one! I think it was Sharon who appeared in the wedding dress though, classic camp nightmare

Also liked Phil's flashback dream in 2006, were it was New Years Eve again and he was in a cab or something as the countdown to the new year and Dennis stabbing occurs.

I agree! This was unheard of in soap at the time!
I absolutely loved the two hander with Sally and Tom after Sally had flatlined on the operating table and had to decide between life and death. Very out there but very moving

I have absolutely no recollection of this whatsoever even though I've been watching since 1985.

Is this the only time that EE have had a pre-titles scene?

I quite liked the episode Hollyoaks did a few months ago where Jade had a dream sequence that was the episode and at the end she came back to reality and was told she had cancer.

The Pat/Peggy one was lovely.

I also loved Vera coming back for Jack in Corrie and Val and Eric in Emmerdale too.

I know it was supposed to be a sensitive storyline but I couldn't help but laugh, it was like a scene from a really bad horror movie

Yeah I think it was the only time EE had a pre-title scene! The scene aired before the opening title in the 1998 episode with Kathy's exit with the jazzy theme playing at the end when she was on the plane
