On the topic of Lesnar, Meltzer made a good point today; why didn't they just let Orton blade? That's safer than what they actually did AND the whole point of blading existing in the first place. Hope Orton launches a concussion suit.

I guess it sucks to be a wrestling fan these days, over the past couple of years you ve had a number of Divas injured like Emma, Sasha, Becky, Emma, Nikki, Bayley, Naomi, Tamini, Natalya yet you get overratted trash like Charlotte who doesnt get injured.

Just think if Charlotte did get injured it be a breath of fresh air for someone else to hold the Womens belt. FOR ONCE!

Why are you obsessed with wanting people to be injured? And do you actually think Naomi and Tamina are better than Charlotte?

It really surprises me that for a company which loves to promote itself as bigger than the American sports leagues and was eager to introduce it's own draft twice, hasn't gone down the route of conferences/ranking/seasons etc. Especially as they've moved very much away from soap opera and swerves, and into a mostly match based win/loss product.

I know WCW did a sort of ranking thing at the begninng of the 90's and TNA really went with it - underatedly I feel - in 2012/2013, under Bischoff. WWE has the sizeable roster and approach to do it properly.

Yeah it is very odd that in certain Lesnar matches like the one at WM against Reigns and the HIAC match against Taker, they seem to allow him to either get busted open or bust someone else open the hard way.

Yet they have banned moves like the curb stomp and chair shots due to concussion worries but then they allow a man the size of Lesnar to elbow Orton on the head. The world of Vince is a mad and confusing place

They have a match-based win/loss product without wins and losses matter. It's sort of this weirdly bland impressionistic thing where everyone is fighting over their Legacy within the WWE Universe by putting on good Performances and having Classic Matches to earn Championship Opportunities.

Absolutely. They can moan all they want about chair shots to the head but they would rather someone get hurted to draw blood rather than just letting them use a blade and throwing worked punches? Doesn't make any sense at all.

Especially since Brock has so obviously bladed before.

Can definitely see this happening. Charlote vs Sasha in the first women's HIAC would be interesting and a good way to end the fued.

To be fair at this point banning the Curb Stomp looks a very wise decision. As much as I liked the move It's not coming back ever and frankly if it does there'll be open season with those lawsuits.

The worrying thing is that compared to his good mate Trump Vince is the relatively normal one. I genuinely wouldn't have been surprised if Linda McMahon had been the vice-presidential nominee with Trump.

On Brock, what Brock says goes I guess. I mean I wouldn't want to be the person to tell him no.

I just worry what the belt they're fighting over will look like.

Yep. Goodness you loathe Cass the way I used to Lashley - who makes Cass sound like Heyman on the mic.

It surely has to be KO winning that title match though - would be the right decision.

I had no idea that the eventual winner of the best of a 1000 matches between Cesaro and Sheamus gets a match against the current Universal Studios Butlins Red Coat/Belt Champion.

When do they actually have all of these matches? Surely not only on a PPV? Would take months!

When did they announce that the winner of the series gets a title shot?

I know the 2nd match is planned for next week on Raw - they mentioned it during the show.

And I presume the rest take place when the rumoured wellness violation suspension spree occurs and WWE try to fill shows however possible.

In the link below Cesaro says twice that their best of 7 is for a match against the world champion. Maybe he is hoping that is true when the end of the day it is just to see which jobber is better...him or Sheamus

On the pre show they have said that due to attacking Shane Steph has fined Brock $500.

Give me strength,

Anyone actually staying up for SD tonight? I'll watch for a bit - there's bound to be a turn or an exit somewhere in the show plus it'd be interesting to see if there was any logic behind some of that Summerslam booking on the SD side (spoiler: there wasn't)

If they mention it on-screen I'll believe it. If it's a Youtube video it's very easy for them to ignore.

To be fair I think they'd rather compete for a seat on a Southern train.

The fine will be part of a bigger story of course they even said Shane won't stand for that and Steph only did it to rub salt in the wounds.

And Brock (And Steph) spend more than that on one meal.

Is that more identical belts?

I liked that cold open with AJ and Dolph.

We don't sell injuries on Tuesday Night Mauro.

I wish Shane and Bryan appeared more. It's not as if we see them 100 times a show.

Those belts look marginally better than the All Red Everything Title. Though that's a very low bar to clear.

Yay it's like Week 1 again. The word opportunity beaten into the ground.

AJ totally the face there though.

The only reason Eva isn't there is because she had a dark match with Seth Rollins.

You may think they are chanting Becky but they're chanting "Eva. Eva"
