Dana Brook(e?) really is dreadful.
Also, since I haven't done one of these for a while, Arsenal's (hopefully) new signing Mustafi has a slight resemblance to Sami Zayn. http://news.winner.co.uk/wp-content/...6/08/image.jpg Only slight mind. |

Agreed - he's just so damn likable. Like an excitable puppy - in a good way.
But then again even Sting has turned heel once or twice so I wouldn't rule out a Zayn turn. There's no reason he wouldn't necessarily be able to pull it off. Now a Bayley heel turn is something I'd like to see. Obviously not for years but at some point. I don't know how they could turn Bayley heel either some wrestlers you can just tell they are really nice in real life so a heel turn just won't work. At most I guess they could turn the hugging thing more creppy but still don't think it would work. |

Is Charlotte going to dump Dana?
On that is Emma close to returning as Dana may go back to her and they do the orignal plan they had for them. |

Raw is facial hair. Quote:
The two Sting turns I recall lasted a few weeks before they turned him back as it just didn't work.

I'm guessing they are alternating the squash matches last week it was Braun Stowman this week Nia Jax.
Maybe they thought 2 a week of the same gimmick was to much. |

Win or lose if they keep pushing Cass this quick before he is anywhere near ready (He's not even ready for the midcard in singles) the fans will turn on him.
In fact this week on FB on other sites I've already seen a lot of backlash for him. |

Surely this goes to Owens. Rollins is too obvious, Reigns... well, I can't see WWE being stupid enough.

Great match, brilliant ending!
I fancied Owens to win, but the ending was a genuine suprise to me! I guess Seth goes face now ![]() And so pleased to see KO as champion. It was rumoured that Finn's first PPV title defenses would have been against Owens, and then Owens and Jericho in a triple threat so I guess it was always the plan to put him in the title picture, just probably not give him the belt this quickly. |

It's a very strange placement. Maybe Orton wins but they don't talk about it much in order to protect Brock's image?

Kevin Owens won the title AND Seth has turned face so seems like a very productive finish. Not sure I'm pleased about it all being about HHH though. Such is life in WWE.
Also, is Reigns vs Rusev just over? |

Yeah, watch Smackdown if you get the chance and catch the mental Miz promo from the post show. If they keep up this consistency, I'll be making it my weekly WWE show and forgetting about Raw.

If you all go back and watch the opening promo, you can tell who's going to win. Owens can't hide his genuine happiness in his delivery which is different to every single other promo he's done. You can tell he's been told his winning and he's happy about it.

We'll see how they do against the NFL. I said that since week one that they are making Raw the indie show and Smackdown aimed at casual fans and I think after some time they will look at both shows, look at how they're booked and then pick which one to go with. Smackdown has your more traditional wrestling, it's got more of a pro wresting feel to it, there's more promos that actually mean something, they seem to get the audience involved, the wrestlers, they are wrestlers, they look like wrestlers, they are the real 'workers' of the WWE. Raw is more of an indie show. They talk AT the audience, every match is very much an exhibition where the audience simply sits and watches, the wrestlers don't look like wrestlers, they look like every day people and they talk like every day people and Russo said it perfectly, watch Raw and listen to how Stephanie and Mick and the wrestlers talk.......listen to how they speak, no one speaks like that in real life. Smackdown right now is the better show and the reason for that is it has sprinkled throughout it the way wrestling used to be booked, it has that magic that for some reason the WWE has been fighting against for the past 3 years and continues to fight on Raw. Why would you limit your audience and aim that show at an indie crowd when you can aim it at casual fans and casual TV viewers and not only be more entertaining but open the shows up to more viewers. Look at the Eva Marie stuff, that's the most creative things they've done in years and it's just a simple entrance but the act gets such a big reaction.

Steph was terrible as ever but amazingly she didn't slap anyone!
I saw the double cross by HHH coming a mile off! It was so obvious it was going to happen. So glad KO won. |
