Really glad for KO but can't say I'm happy that for the next twenty months we'll be treated to 15 minute HHH promos whilst Owens twiddles his thumbs in the background. I hope I'm wrong and the HHH is nowhere near Owens and this was to set up HHH v Rolins or something.
I genuinely don't understand why KO couldn't have won without HHH. Made up for Owen and totally deserved but I'm sick of the sight of HHH. |

Thought Raw was alright this week although saying that I enjoyed the main event was surprised to see HHH show up but it was a brilliant ending having HHH turn on Seth and KO winning the Universal title so pleased for KO he deserves that title.

Because HHH will always be presented as The Lord God Almighty from whom all authority and legitimacy is bestowed. The only two performers on WWE television who are allowed to be presented as anywhere near his level are Brock Lesnar and Stephanie McMahon.
They're not allowed to have anyone who isn't Brock hold the belt unless HHH or 'the authority' is in some way involved. I am hoping against hope KO doesn't come out with HHH at the beginning of next weeks Raw so HHH can tell us all how great KO is and how he's the champ because HHH wants him to be. It's beyond boring now. Let it be that he had issue with Rolins and KO just so happened to be the only man in the match who wasn't Rolins or Raigns. Keep HHH as far away from KO as possible. Just let us have a champ stand on his own please. |

It always felt like Triple H would eventually turn on Rollins in favour of Owens. Though in the narrative I'm not sure it makes any sense or at least wasn't up effectively.

Personally, i thought it was a superbly thought, and worked out ending last night. HHH's involvement was fine by me (and makes sense). Raw, IMO, was special last night for all the right reasons. Great matches, fun matches, funny segs, shocks, twists, turns, with plenty left open for further development with storylines and angles.
Since the Brand Split, WWE has been really good, and last night it was really great! |

Such a shame Owens' moment was overshadowed by Hunter but surprised? Nah.
No doubt Rollins will face the same bullshit Reigns did where Hunter works for himself, the PPV matches will be full of a heel HHH working for face crowd pops and **** the person he's supposed to be enhancing. I love HHH but his involvement in storylines now are just an opportunity to enhance himself when, especially as the likely successor to Vince, he doesn't need too. Saying that, think I'd quite like to see Steph shock turn on Hunter and side with Rollins. |

We give WWE an awful lot of shit but that main event booking (and the match itself) was sodding magnificent. If that's emergency booking then give me emergency booking any day.
Pleased for KO - he deserves a run with the belt and looks like he'll get a decent one. Also looks like a Rollins face/'tweener' turn which I'm overjoyed about. To be fair the backstage promo beforehand was certainly a hint at that but given we've had similar segments in the past so I did just dismiss it as meaningless. I say looks like though as I'm still not 100% it is a full turn. Also Cole totally knocked that main event commentary out the park for me. He's so often criticised but I thought he was fantastic on that main event. He, Saxton and Corey really do work as a team. Will be interested to see what SD do as a response. I like the fact both shows seem keen to outdo each other. Leaves me wanting to see what happens next each week which can only be a good thing. For all the praise above though, slightly confused as to what the point of the Heyman/Steph thing was though. I like both and thought both performed well but the ending to that segment just had me going 'eh?' more than anything. |

And KO has always been booked as a bit of a mercenary so it made sense. While I get HHH's appearance not being a cause of joy, it makes sense here. It's not as if he randomly appeared during the 6 person tag match. On whether they'll book KO as a strong champ, I'll believe it when I see it. WWE love booking heels as either a) Monster heels or b) Superstars who couldn't win against James Ellsworth unless half the roster interferes - with very few exceptions. At the moment, AJ seems to be being booked as a strong heel on the SD side and can't see them doing similar for 2 people on the main roster. Plus KO character wise is exactly the sort of superstar who can get away with not being booked the strongest. Quote:

I'm assuming you're wrong on this and hope you are (who knows in reality).I love HHH but his involvement in storylines now are just an opportunity to enhance himself when, especially as the likely successor to Vince, he doesn't need too. I think there are a few differences between the Rollins and Reigns cases. I think HHH definetely sees the likes of Balor, Owens and Rollins as 'his guys' more than he does Reigns so can't see him 'going out for himself' as much. Plus there's the elephant in the room that often the same people who were booing Reigns will likely cheer Rollins. And in a way while I know people aren't fans of the Authority if they as a concept are being removed from on-screen then it should be done properly. They were a big part of the show for several years if they are to go it shouldn't just happen because Vince is impressed that Shane wants to scare his kids for lives. It should be an actual write-off. Despite all the defence I've put above, if the whole thing ends up a mess then don't worry I'll be the front of the line laying into WWE. Just thinking at least give them the rope to hang themselves with. |

I think HHH turning on Rollins and going with Owens was always the plan just with Rollins injury it got pushed back.
HHH brought Owens in to the main roster and the way they did it back then I thought it's what would happen. |

Also why bother getting DB involved if he can't wrestle. |

For all the HHH complaints, it's easier to list the SDs that haven't started with Shane and Bryan.

I love a good 'ooh' from the crowd.
Well done all three. I'd happily be a coward if I got home to Maryse each night. |
