The only way I would put the Title match on first is if something happens that teases something else happening at the end of the show and you want to try and keep those people watching the show rather than changing to the debate. It wont matter either way as it's not a TV rating they are after but I would imagine they would want their audience to watch the whole show rather than cherry pick the matches and that match really is the main match for people.
I can go back to when I was a child and family members would ask me to fast forward the video tape to the end so they could see the end. That's how most people still are today. They only care about the last match and how it ends, they're not gonna watch it all. Even I'm like that now with the TV products, all I care about is the last 30 seconds of the matches and what the promos are, that's all I need to see, I don't need to sit through entire matches anymore, just tell me who wins and that's it.
And ags I agree about the Network, of course James that doesn't watch TNA will of course watch it if it's on the Network lol. Many WWE fans will justify it that way and unfortunately for many of them, they will pay it. Even James said he paid £70 for the video game months and months ago when it went up for pre order. Not even a second thought given, £70 and it's already for sale at £35 and no doubt be under £20 in Black Friday next month.
The WWE has lost touch with the casual audience, they don't know how to reach the masses anymore with wrestling or characters or story so they are milking what audience is there dry. Now me and you might sit there and not understand it but you think of how many people there are out there that are just like that, thousands of people paying £70 for a video game months before it's even released. Believe me there's plenty that would do it. That's where the money goes, dole money or if some of them work a job, it goes on things like that. If WWE said they are charging £50 a month, they would pay it, no questions asked, wouldn't bat an eyelid, they would even cut their food supply short, maybe pay a few bills a fortnight late, they would make sure the wrestling is paid for first.
And that's how it is. There's some people out there that don't have anything else. There's no partner or spouse, there's no responsibilities other than themselves and they've nothing else to spend their money on. They've been watching wrestling since birth, they've went through childhood, teenage years and now into adulthood and nothing has changed. I've said it on here before, if Sky Sports showed a blank screen for 3 hours there's people that would literally sit and stare at it waiting for a wrestling match to come on, 4 in the morning when most people are sleeping and they have to sleep because they need to work 40 hours a week and live a life. Wrestling is a luxury. Sitting up till 4am on a Tuesday morning is a luxury but there are people that don't have anything else. It's no different than some of the fandoms for music, you get fans that are so into it that's all they think about, they're taking time off school, off work, they get into debt, paying for concert tickets and hotels and wanting autographs, it consumes their life. It gets them through the day.
