No James Ellsworth should not win the WWE title it was stupid to have a jobber pin the WWE champion AJ Styles will wipe the floor with Ellsworth next week Ellsworth will never be seen again after next week. Seriously Dave your surprised that Barry Horowitz never won the IC title? Yeah right and I'm surprised that Brooklyn Brawler was never WWE champion there's a reason why fans like me call them jobbers cause they are booked to lose simple as that.
Also gives those fans a feeling of superiority.

There is nothing wrong with a talent of any level losing against a talent of any level as long as it was done in the right way and for the right reasons.

Its perfectly acceptable in a case like this where you have a heel who has been going around saying things like "he is the face that runs the place" and boasting about who he has beaten lately (while of course ignoring how he won) also helps Dean get over more with crowd by playing to his strengths while keeping them apart and not doing the normal run in after the match and pushes forward the feud between them and next week Ellsworth will get a great reaction when he comes out also it gives these type of matches a push.

Nobody is hurt by Styles losing, The Heel gets more heat because he lost to a lesser talent, Ambrose who gets more over and you have Ellsworth who will be over next week and can be bought back every so often and people will be less certain he going to lose (even if he gets well beaten next week)

WWE have fired back at Paige, Del Rio and her family by revealing she failed her test due to an illegal substance, not prescription drugs.
Her and Alberto are definitely on cocaine.

Thats what we are supposed to do. Fans were legimately livid when Piper kicked Lauper and beat up Albano at MSG. Thats problem with wrestling today people dont believe the characters they see on TV, they want us to hate and despise the heels not go oh its a tv character they are nice as hell at fan signings.
There's difference between suspending your disbelief to get into a TV show or a live act and acting like a man-child.

There is a massive difference between not "liking" someone like The Mizz and refusing to acknowledge how fantastic he has been performing in his current role

Even that is fine, You might not like a character in a TV drama BUT you should still be able to praise the actor/actress playing them if they are doing a good job which is what is happening with The Mizz, Anyone not praising him and Maryse is taking it way to seriously and has to look at if discussing WWE on a internet forum in 2016 is something they should be doing

To be honest if you look at the way they was booking Horowitz in 1995 where he won 2 matches against Skip and also beat the undefeated at the time Hakushi and then beat Skip a third time at the Summerslam PPV.

Its not like he fluked one match then lost the rest, he got a great reception at Summerslam and if Shawn had dropped the title to Shane Douglas instead of bellyaching and forfeitting it I suppose they could have done a program between the two.

You can call them jobbers all you like because they are booked to lose but then again all wrestlers are booked to lose. No one goes out and is undefeated during their entire career well unless they are a celebrity.

It wouldnt be all bad if james won the belt on Smackdown as its something WWE has never done before.

Where is this stated? I can't see anything on .com or the corporate site.

EDIT:

Found it. Originated in the New York Post. The "statement" isn't really presented all that officially to be honest, and frankly I give the Post about the same credit as The Sun.

Well, maybe not that bad. The Mirror perhaps

Not saying it's not true, and my gut feels it probably is, but it's not a statement. It's a step up from "an insider revealed".

Looked very dangerous.

But I read/heard somewhere that it's usually safe to take. All he had to do was tilt his head back. But since the natural instinct is to tilt your head forward, it can result in what happened to The Great JE.

So Paige is fired now? good riddens if she has this entitled attitude.

She was giving a massive push that was undeserved, and she's constantly messed it up.

Paige, a diva, shouldn't be using illegal drugs.

Back to the indy's Paige/Brittani Knight goes.

Silly girl.. ruined her career for a high? she could've dominated the Diva's division for years if she stayed on track.. her ego, arrogance, entitled attitude has got too big for her boots sadly and was her downfall.. I guess that's happens when you take a young girl straight from a council estate in Norwich living with her parents and put her on a pedestal in such a massive world-wide organisation as the WWE is, there is too many trappings (I've heard rumours that she allegedly was a ring rat in the WWE locker room and had sex with loads of wrestlers). You can take the girl out of Norwich...

Her family will be hating her.. she's made them look like idiots by lying to them and wasting this golden opportunity.

Hopefully she learns and grows from this. And if wrestling isn't her passion she actually does what she wants, and not her family if it's true her family forced/pushed her into wrestling.. it's her life.

Not yet, If she is badly injured and needs surgery it is unlikely they will fire her while that is ongoing for the sake of their image, Of course push them too far and they will

One question here, Isn't there a rule about 2nd strike requiring compulsory rehab or you are let go? Umaga refused it and he was released and look how that ended.

Wow, that was unexpected!

The match will probably be great, but I really wish NXT were doing more to promote their own women. The majority of main talent on the NXT roster have made their name elsewhere. NXT should be developing fresh new talent.

Having said that, bringing in big names from outside does get a good reaction and usually results in great matches. Can't fault them on the entertainment value. (Even though the Takeover event are really good, the weekly product quality has declined.)

She looks like she is a bit worryingly thin in that picture, too much bone showing, is never ever a good look.

Raw is dead. It is a very tired format that goes on to long. To try and save it they are bringing back a old guy to job out to a guy who hates wrestling.
That's enough to get me to tune in again, albeit it fast forward all the other bits

Anyone with common sense wouldnt act this way given how lucky she is in the big time leagues. Why be stupid waste your time there?

There are a ton of girls on the indy scene who would love her spot.

It's funny you say that cause they have just started developing characters for a few women wrestlers on NXT the likes of Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, and Liv Morgan. On the news regarding Asuka vs Mickie James for Takeover Toronto woah I did not see that one coming can't wait for that match up.

I kind of get why they're bringing Mickey James in for a one shot deal (or maybe more I'm not sure what the deal is), the draft ripped pretty much all of NXTs womens roster out bar Asuka and left a big vacuum. They're in the process of building Ember Moon, Billie Kay, Liv Morgan etc but realistically they're not ready to look a viable threat against Asuka who has been booked to be unbeatable. If Bayley, Dana Brooke, Emma and Nia Jax all now on the main roster couldn't beat her some relative NXT rookie isn't going to look like a contender.

A well known name from the past who can come in and do the job still looks an attractive matchup.

Think long term they'll book Ember Moon as the one to take the title but maybe not till a takeover in 2017.
