There is nothing wrong with a talent of any level losing against a talent of any level as long as it was done in the right way and for the right reasons.
Its perfectly acceptable in a case like this where you have a heel who has been going around saying things like "he is the face that runs the place" and boasting about who he has beaten lately (while of course ignoring how he won) also helps Dean get over more with crowd by playing to his strengths while keeping them apart and not doing the normal run in after the match and pushes forward the feud between them and next week Ellsworth will get a great reaction when he comes out also it gives these type of matches a push.
Nobody is hurt by Styles losing, The Heel gets more heat because he lost to a lesser talent, Ambrose who gets more over and you have Ellsworth who will be over next week and can be bought back every so often and people will be less certain he going to lose (even if he gets well beaten next week)
