So you expect a business to avoid areas etc just because the crowd might cheer?

Plenty of talk going around that Io Shirai will be joining the WWE in 2017 and possibly Hojo too, absolutely huge news.

Crazy if it happens, Stardom need to do everything possible to convince Hojo to stay if they lose Io. On the other hand, a lot of people are in for a treat when they're introduced to the best female worker in the world in Io. Madness if Hojo also comes.

You really think they had this whole angle planned before they had sorted out their schedule for the year?

Posted something similar before, but now WWE has posted some more pictures of The Undertaker with the Cleveland Cavaliers

This makes me very happy for some reason.

...or maybe I'm happy because it's Friday.

I'd be surprised if they had anything planned on Monday morning!

SD sure is a mixed bag at the moment. I do like their divas booking - Naomi is getting a resurgence (and I love her entrance) and Alexa Bliss is really impressing me and they all seem to have something to do.

Both Miz and Ziggler are knocking it out the park at the moment - as is everyone else involved in that angle. Both written off numerous times but delivering some fantastic performances at the moment and showing the benefits a brand split can offer.
Great to see Spirit Squad back too - a very guilty pleasure (goodness knows how they agreed to be male cheerleaders again) - and they and Luke Harper add a bit of depth that was sorely needed to SD.

Less said Orton/Wyatt the better - I like that Harper's back but I've skipped a lot of that feud.

Really pleased to see WWE did a Where are they Now on Brutus Beefcake.

He seems very thankful towards the fans.

I think the two reasons for the success of Miz and ziggler at the moment are that they are good friends in real life and are clearly working on the angle together, and the second is that wwe appear to be giving them a lot of freedom with the angle and promos etc.

Survivor Series reported to be 4 hours long this year (5 if you count the kick off show as well)

Rumours are they want to make the Big 4 seem special again so maybe they all will be except WM which will be about 7-8 hours inc pre show.

NXT have announced tapings for the Tuesday after Survivor Series. The taping will take place in the same arena as Survivor Series, Raw and will tape after Smackdown.

To long, the only show that should be 4 hours is WM. Look how much WM dragged this year, at 5 hours (nearer 7 with all the pre show stuff) it was way to long.

When the main event came around the crowd were dead, I know it was not a main event everyone wanted but still, if you have a crowd sat in a arena for up to 6/7 hours, by the end they will be fed up and want to go home.

Sometimes less is better.

Anybody else see Charlotte winning the title back tonight?

I hope not as the title will have changed hands to many times in the past few months.

If Charlotte wins it back at around the Royal Rumble fair enough.

But I can see Sasha holding it until Sasha vs Bayley at WM33.

I've just been thinking we might see an interference with Nia Jax playing the "Kane" role and costing Sasha the title. I think it's deliberate they've kept Nia off the last few shows after her run of jobber squashes.

That said, I still went with Sasha winning by submission in a prediction thing I take part in for PPVs.

Rumoured that Charlotte v Sasha will be last on

I'd rather she didn't win, but I can see Charlotte winning. I think WWE would want to protect her PPV record (I think she's got some sort of record, possibly unbeaten in singles matches or most consecutive PPVs) and they'd love to show off the daughter of Ric Flair as the winner of the first ever women's HIAC match.

I know I've said this already but that was my problem with this year's Wrestlemania apart from some strange booking decisions the fact that it went on for 5 hours way too long and like you said it did drag.

Do I think this year's Survivor Series should be 4 hours? I think I need to wait on the full match card before I make judgement on it.

Well it is a history making match on this history making night so I wouldn't be surprised if that match was on last and imo it should Sasha/Charlotte is a feud worthy of ending inside HIAC.

Rumors are everybody is for it except Vince and if some rumours are true that has caused a bit of a issue between Vince and HHH.

I know they have bigged up the fact it's the first ever Womens HIAC (In fact maybe bigged that up to much rather than the match itself) but if they planned to have the first ever Women main even a WWE PPV I think they would have mentioned it by now.

That said if it's not I'm certain it will happen soon.

Didn't Foley say it would be the main event before back tracking last week?

Yes.

I think he backtracked by saying it will be one of 3 main events.

WWE can say there are 3 main events all they like but to most fans and history books the last match is the main event or the main main event if they must.

The problem is, and maybe it will be disagreed with, Sasha vs Charlotte should have been pushed as THE main event from the moment it was announced it was HIAC. You can have a triple main event but there needs to be a main event and I feel like the historic element of this match hasn't really been pushed well at all.

These women being potentially the first to ever main event a PPV should have been a huge thing and I just feel so meh about it. It's not through Sasha and Charlotte's work who I think have been great at selling the match but (seemingly) Vince being unwilling to push women as THE main event.

Behind Ziggler and Miz, this has been my favourite story and to their credit I think they've got it mostly right but it's nagging at me how poor they've been about pushing these two women to headline a PPV.

I'm not asking for a WM (yet) but there is no reason women shouldn't be the headline of Raw or Smackdown or some b-level PPV.

The match may go on last but IMO, it isn't the main event that it very much should be and I find that sad.
