Really surprised they have yet to acknowledge a Hall of Famer, kayfabe Authority figure and star of WM becoming the most powerful person on the planet. This is a company that gets a hard-on if one of their own is given a minor role in a third rate sitcom!

WWE's audience in america is suspected to be more Democrat than Republican and presumably WWE don't want to risk pissing the other 50% off given how polarising US politics is.

No doubt Trump will return the favor, wrestlers will never have an union and some of the restrictions placed on WWE will likely disappear....

...o and deporting Alberto.

Joking aside, I wouldnt doubt if Trump appears on Raw or Wrestlemania, Vince is eyeing up a big opportunity here. Kayfabe wise Trump was the owner of the company after all.

Good way at killing any momentum he had. Body slam challenges...that will send the ratings sky high. Strowman is starting to come a long quite nicely at the moment but if he is going to put in a feud with Big Show for a while it kill it dead, as with all Big Show matches now, they are so slow and kills the crowd.

The McMahon's will have zero role in the Trump presidency. Linda couldn't even win a Senate race spending $50 million.

Correct.

However being pals with the president isn't going to do them any harm.

They're the biggest donators to his charity by far; the McMahons have given millions to The Trump Foundation, far more than Trump himself has given to it.

You'd suspect Linda will get something, given he has 4000 jobs to fill.

Ah the double standards as always with the McMahons. Make their product PG and sack any wrestler that dares step out line for example Brad Maddox for calling some of the crowd pricks.

Yet give millions upon millions to a guy who is racist, homophobic, sexist and a bully.

Very surprising.

I'd always thought the US wrestling audience in general was usually very much to the right. Especially in middle America.

Though that's summised from the WWE demographic of age and income level, wrestling's roots and sophistication, and what I've read online over the years.

Ive always hated them dressing down the audience with stupid dress codes. I mean so what if a fan want to dress up as Ric Flair or Randy Savage. They shouldnt be forced to wear a wwe shirt or get kicked off the show if they ve done nothing wrong.

Are we expecting superstars to invade one another's shows this week on RAW and Smackdown?

Are you not allowed to go to events dressed as a wrestler?

If you were on the hard camera near the front and dressed in a manner Vince doesn't approve of, people have been handed a shirt from the merch stand and asked to put it on before, that's certainly happened, but I don't think it's that common.

Good way to get a free shirt though.

I think if you pay that kind of money to sit front row you should be allowed to wear anything you want.

Did you get on TV JCR? It was a weird feeling this week. I was glad they had a proper setup, I was assuming Scotland flags or Union Jacks and a lot of mocking but surprisingly both Raw and Smackdown went by with very few Scottish jokes and no props on the entrance area. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. They seemed to sell out both nights and by using that side of the arena they didn't lose any seats there, I don't know if their hard cameras took up a lot of space as I never wandered to that area.

They seem to alternate the same few hotels when they come here despite their being hotels literally on every street. Vince McMahon and Triple H were in Glasgow too and many fans met them all at the hotel. I know many people that book their dinners in advance so they can actually hang about the bar inside and spend more time with the wrestlers. I always love hearing their stories.

Can anyone advise on what it's like going to a house show? I know titles don't tend to change hands and I believe the entrance area for the wrestlers is much smaller. I'm going to New York for Christmas and New Year. I've tickets to the smackdown show at madison square garden and the Raw one in Brooklyn.

In case it's of interest these are the cards.

Goldust's stepson, who is transgender, was apparently beaten up by three ****wits recently as per the article here.
Dustin's response is perfect.
