The remaining ppvs this year are apparently-

Battleground, 24th July
Summerslam 21st August
Backlash- Network only- Smackdown brand, 11th September
Clash of Champions, Raw brand, 25th September
No Mercy, (Smackdown), 9th October
Hell in a Cell (Raw), 30th October
Survivor Series, both brands, 20th November
TLC (Smackdown), 4th December
Roadblock (Raw), 18th December
I thought they may at least change up some of the names for the brand only PPVs.

Either way Romans not a good guy his not a bad guy his a stupid guy for whatever his been taking that's made him fail the wellness test. Such a shame as I was just about to praise him for his match with Seth at MITB also I still hope this Shield triple threat still happens at Battleground although the match is more worthy of taking place at Summerslam.
My brother pretty much said the bit in bold! Was shocked when I heard about Reigns. Seen him live two times.

I actually agree with JR, those fans chanting "You Can't Wrestle!" are an embarrassment! Those two times I've seen him Live, he can wrestle in my opinion.
I honestly think he's been told by WWE to limit his move set. He had a bigger move set in NXT, if I remember correctly.

When he's done with his 30 days suspension, the WWE should bring him back as a heel, write the suspension in to the storyline.
Have him slag the fans off, saying how they never stood by him.

This is WWE though so they'll probably still try and push him as a fan favourite.

Calling it Clash of Champions instead of Night of casts some doubt on that for me.

Read a few days ago WWE has just trademarked Clash Of Champions and other old WCW PPV names.

Maybe they are planning on using them for the new specials.

I suppose it would work if it's a night of Champions against Champions.

Ooh, Kevin Owens just followed me on twitter because I supported his charity thing.

Any suggestions for things to say to him before the inevitable block comes?

Tell him to make his big matches less of a spotfest and more about ring psychology and selling

A network special at the end of October and December and they don't use either the forever cool sounding Halloween Havoc or the classy Starrcade. But instead use Clash of the Champions. The mind boggles.

Wouldn't be surprised if Roman did this on purpose - isn't marijuana something which would get a performer suspended?

Despite being being pushed as the top guy and earning the money that goes with it, he's looked increasingly fed up with his situation. There was even a report started 'heeling' on fans after Payback.
Marijuana is a $2500 fine. This has been criticized as it is assumed some of better paid talent are just taking the fine every month, where as lower card guys couldn't afford to do that.

The full policy is here- http://corporate.wwe.com/what-we-do/...testing-policy

They have trademarked a few WCW PPV names so both could still be used.

Though I would have assumed they had them trademarked anyway.

ROH have announced Roderick Strong is done with them after this weekend. (Presumably NXT bound)

Very happy to see Backlash and No Mercy possibly making a return. Bring back the old PPV names and have the gimmick PPV as sporadic specials.

I hope King of the Ring makes a full return to the schedule further down the line.

That should really be a joint PPV.

Maybe add a Queen Of The Ring tournament to it.

Never really thought about a Queen of the Ring tourney but that would be great. Whoever gets it could get a lot of mileage out of the gimmick.

Bored waiting for boyfriend to get home so had a look at a potential PPV schedule with 2 PPVs in most months.

Royal Rumble - Jan 22
No Way Out (Raw) - Feb 12
Judgement Day (SD) - Feb 26
Fast Lane - Mar 12
Wrestlemania - Apr 2
Backlash (Raw) - May 7
Hell In A Cell (SD) - May 21
Night/Clash Of Champions - Jun 11 (This will be the new PPV to feature MITB format)
Payback (Raw) - Jun 25
Extreme Rules (SD) - Jul 16
Roadblock (Raw) - Jul 30
Summerslam - Aug 20
TLC (SD) - Sep 10
Unforgiven (Raw) - Sep 24
King Of The Ring - Oct 15
Survivor Series - Nov 19
Fully Loaded (SD) - Dec 3
Elimination Chamber (Raw) - Dec 17.

With that schedule, Raw gets 6 exclusives with Smackdown getting 5. This could rotate year to year. Each brand gets 2 gimmick PPVs. Clash/Night Of Champions and King Of The Ring (Which would feature a QOTR tournament) would join the Big 4 as dual branded with Fastlane also dual heading into WM.

18 PPV a year, which is a lot but with the brand split it actually isn't too much different than currently if you look at each brand as a separate entity. Raw would have an average of 3.83 weeks between events with SD! getting 4.09 weeks.

Sorry I'm talking crap but feel free to ignore.

Yeah I like that idea.

I'd like them to add a 20 women Royal Rumble match to the Royal Rumble card to kick off the show if possible at next years show (plus to happen at least once, both Hell in a Cell match and Money in the Bank/multi ladder match with the right women wrestlers)

Thanks for that Hol. It;s good to see how it would actually play out.

I think this shows that with the brand split this format would work. Each PPV (sorry, Network Special) still has the same average time to build up to the show and with each superstar/feud only being on one show a week rather than two it should hopefuly mean WWE can do a better build up with less repetitiveness.

Good to see some of the old classic PPV names too.

The CWC starts taping today I believe. Not sure when it will actually air on the Network.

I've been naughty and added March, June and October as non branded purely because I think KOTR and Night/Clash Of Champions should be dual branded. The reason for Fastlane being non brand is because of the changing of Mania between March and April so Fastlane could easily be dropped in years when Mania is held in March.

For 2018, the events would be switched so Judgement Day would move to second weekend in Feb, No Way Out would go to fourth weekend which means SD! Would get the sixth branded event of the year.

I know it won't work out like this for clarity but wanted to show it can work thanks to the brand split. The wait between PPV is short but thanks to the brands the amount of build for each brand shouldn't be impaacted that much.

I've had a change of heart. No Way Out becomes Battleground. TLC replaces Elimination Chamber in December. TLC and Extreme Rules becomes non gimmick PPV with names i cant yet think of.

Second May becomes a gimmick event which alternates between Hell In A Cell, Elimination Chamber and No Way Out (which features Cage matches) with December alternating between TLC and Extreme Rules. So we only get 2 gimmicks a year and they alternate so the gimmicks don't get overused.

Said it before, ill say it again. Im bloody wasted here.
