Owens/Jericho segment and Owens/Rollins match were the only good points from last night's Raw as for the rest of the show I really couldn't care less.

But why is that gother? In theory, WWE just now should be your dream show. It should be most fans dream show, definately the IWC's dream show.

All the things I wanted and have bashed for like characters, entertainment, violence, sexuality are all gone. The WWE stripped the lot away, been doing it for years and they've replaced that with wrestling. Match after match after match. Wrestling matches. Matches that can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes, on TV no less, prime time TV, one after the other.

So i don't see why many of you are skipping through the shows and not posting in the thread. Shouldn't this be the show you all want? I know I got bashed when I wanted characters and storylines and violence and sexuality, so if all that isn't what the IWC wants and all they want is wrestling then this should be it. 3 hours on Monday, 2 hours on Tuesday, 1 hour of NXT, 1 hour of Superstars, 1 hour of Main Event, 8 hours a week of WWE wrestling with wrestlers that don't have characters. There are no storylines, just angry wrestler A vs angry wrestler B, there's no acting involved and that's that.

What I want is meant to be old hat, old fashioned, out of style, no one wants that kind of wrestling anymore, well if what I want is not in fashion anymore and the current formula of non stop wrestling isn't working then what will? I don't think there is anything left. Do you know what I think it is? I think it's a case of some of you on here and many others online maybe realising that not only was I right with many things but maybe you thought you wanted wrestling, maybe you thought indy guys like Kevin Owens and the rest would be a good thing and now you've got it in abundance and you're realising.....it's not all that good anymore.

And for anyone that wants to tell me otherwise, look at Goldberg. Look at Bill Goldberg, the well hasn't run dry yet. There's still some water in the well. Once again another middle aged man has to come back and sell the big shows because the younger guys can't do it.they need the big stars to sell Wrestlemania.

I wonder if we are going to get a swerve and it wasn't Nattie who attacked Nikki.

I hope this isn't going to lead to Kalisto vs Baron Corban in a Chairs Match

I watched Survivor Series again and the look on Charlottes face after cutting from Nikki looks like she knows something.

Good to see AJ is being booked strong as a champ. Once again he was made to look stupid last night. Ellsworth was funny at first but now he is doing my head in and in turn making AJ Styles and Ambrose both come across as silly.

Isn't it 3 times that Ellsworth has beaten Styles now?

he was not allowed to use the regular locker room. Cara was forced to change in the "extras" room instead.
Cara has been punished several times for the tour bus incident with Chris Jericho in the UK earlier this month - he was kicked off the bus after the incident, exiled to the SmackDown side of the tour but not booked on any shows, and had to drive 6 hours to last week's RAW as he was not allowed on the company-chartered flight.

That is blatent Bullying!

Ok he did something wrong and got punished but now WWE is just taking the piss and it seems like hes being bullied by the company.

Have to call this week a draw, nothing to really separate Raw and Smackdown

WWE seriously need to get their own heads out of their arses it's decisions like that that are gonna drive viewers away from their shows this has been the kind of week where I feel like WWE are just taking the piss with their shows I'm close to being on my tether with WWE.

After watching last night's Smackdown I have come to the conclusion and the jury's out Dean Ambrose makes me cringe and tries too hard to be funny.

Have to say and as harsh as this may sound both shows lost out this week although imo on a slightly positive note Raw was just the better show and that's only thanks to Owens, Jericho, and Rollins.

And yet those guys are still the top guys. You are not going to get harmed by losing to special attractions. Even in the old days the World Champ was really no more then a special attraction that came in and beat the top guy and left for a year or so that guy was still a top guy when they left (sometimes it even pushed them up to a new level).

Losing to a special attraction can be just as helpful as beating one

I see what you mean and there is a lot of relevance in that. The thing is Rollins, Reigns, Ambrose etc should come across as a bigger deal than they do when TV rights is a big segment of revenue and ratings are a key factor. At the Survivor Series they all executed their big moves but many times the audience was silent. The Styles/Rollins and Ambrose/Rollins showdowns were pushed as important, but the fans didn't react as such. Even The Shield reunion didn't do as well as you'd expect.

I suppose in years to come it will be hoped the current crop of talent will transition into the roles Taker, Lesnar etc have now.

Meltzer seems to think WWE have had talks with the popular Irish Ric Flair impersonator Conor McGregor, presumably regarding appearing at Wrestlemania.

Interesting to see if they trusted him with a live mic there, given he does tend to swear rather a lot.

I not sure how much you can really take of the crowd nowadays, An awful lot seem to want to be "noticed" so are more bothered about being seen as smart marks and taking over the show then enjoying it, They don't want to be told who to cheer and boo (yet like panto its a important part of the show) But when a legend shows they revert back to the type of fans they was when the legends was part of the normal roster. I think a big part is nostalgia (and maybe a respect for the talents), They enjoy going along with the show then more then they do with today's product. There was a recent segment with the women and the crowd chanted for Bailey IMO for no other reason then it was a catchy chant and they could tweet about a crowd takeover

I not sure not having the legends or special attractions will help, The gene with regards to the crowds is out and going to be very difficult to put back in.

I think in time the current big names will take over, Much like at Mania with the N.W.O and DX reunion at Wrestlemania 40 when some big bad is beating up the face the music will hit and The Shield walk though the crowd they will pop (even if Reigns will get cheered)

I am all for Lesnar losing like he did if it means he comes back without the Suplex City bullshit we all got bored off.

My only concern is that he is booked in for a house show in Mexico in a couple of weeks, where no doubt he will hit some suplexes and a F5 to win. I would much rather he waa kept away now until the Rumble itself

I don't think he could hold anything longer than a ten second conversation without swearing.
