Pretty good raw night. Traditionally the Christmas raw is awful.

One thing I would have preferred though is if Chris Jericho had remained stuck above the ring for a while and with a microphone. He then could have just randomly shouted and talks throughout matches and segments. Could have been brilliant.
Now as bad as smackdown. Honestly building up AJ/Ellsworth for months and then a 2 minute match on Smackdown.

He is nailed on for a Hall of Fame spot in the future, I would who would induct him?
His best friend Kevin Owens?!
Hes not his best friend in real life.

As for who Jericho should have injuct him I dunno , Lance Storm because of being his old tag partner.

I was joking about the best friend thing, hence the smiley, but it will be interesting to see just who inducts him when he goes in.

AJ Styles was always gonna beat James Elsworth for the WWE title sorry that you were expecting a 5 star match.

Not to mention Styles is still injured so couldn't do to much that is also why next week is a Triple Threat now.

Which would be fine if they was actually building for a AJ vs Ellsworth match, They was using Ellsworth for the AJ/Ambrose, The match was just a byproduct from that fued which is one of the reasons it was not a long match the injury to Styles of course meant it had to be a different type of match but it was likely to be nothing more then a throwaway match and rightly so

Yeah I agree, that's all it ever was going to be.

If it went 15 minutes he would have complained that it made Styles look weak.

He was a useful tool in the main feud (much like a gimmick match is used) and they have also created a talent when they want to put a monster over that they can use,

If anyone was actually expecting a match in which Ellsworth could actually look like any kind of threat to someone of AJ's calibre, and thought that Ellsworth could go toe to toe with a main eventer for any sustained period of time, then you are crazy.

A squash match is all I wanted. Hoepfully not Ellsworth is finally finished and will fade away into obscurity. The joke is over. Time to move on.

Although if he wants to come back just ONE more time so that Baron Corbin can have a go in destroying him, I'm sure I could tolerate it.

He has a habit of praising heels and kissing Charlotte's backside every week and slagging off the past generations and god forbid if you use the Diva term he takes offense to it when it was the normal word last year.

Whether you call the female roster Diva or Women its still the same bloody thing. He just likes to nit pick at everything and it doesnt matter if people still call them Divas, its only a message board not WWE TV.

Yes but they had been building it for months now. Granted it probably was always going to be a 5 min squash but thought they might have built it up for something interesting.

The Rock? After all they are intrinsically linked, seeing as how Y2J made his debut interrupting him.

Other than that, I don't know, as he hasn't had, or needed a manager, or been in that many long lasting tag teams, so it is hard to really nail down someone, the poster who mentioned Lance Storm might be the best best, but usually don't they like a big name to do the introductions? So that might rule him out.

William Regal perhaps, as they I think have a good relationship back stage, and have been around together in WWE for a good while now.

You've still not realised that neither she or Rusev are actually bad people just because they're heels on TV.

and kissing Charlotte's backside every week
She's a good worker. You have a weird problem with crediting people for their work if they're a bad guy on TV. It's very odd.

and slagging off the past generations
Such as? If saying Charlotte is a better worker than such luminaries of the business as Jazz and Milly Holly is controversial, wait til you hear what I think of Stephanie McMahon...

and god forbid if you use the Diva term he takes offense to it when it was the normal word last year.

Don't recall doing that but it is strange for grown adults to use WWE marketing terms rather than actual words like women or wrestlers.

Maybe Shawn, because he always bangs on about how great their feud was in 2008.
