I'd not want him back for that or to be another part timer who only fueds with other part timers. I'd want him in the fresh fueds Brock and Goldberg won't such as Owens, Rollins, Styles, Wyatt etc.
At his age and injuries he can't take a full time schedule best we can hope for is part time.

More than Brock but less than everybody else.

This isn't WWE related, but is wrestling related, anyone going to be watching the WOS special tomorrow?

If so, is it worth setting up a new thread in the UK TV thread section, or shall we just discuss it here, (seeing as most wrestling fans I think post here)?
I have looked forward to it since it was announced. Just hope it's not like the cringey Good Morning Britain segment at 7:50 this morning or its going to come across as cheesy and be panned.

No surprise SD is beating Raw in the ratings. Raw is just abysmal and has been all year and more. I haven't even bothered with it for ages now, just catch up via Youtube ect.
Who's doing the writing for Smackdown?

If the ratings are better than Raw im presuming they both have different writing teams.

All the TV books have glossy Big Daddy & Giant Haystacks pics. For wrestling fans who havent tuned into Brit wrestling in decades ie the ones in their 50s - 60s probably dont even know they passed away years ago so will prob be disapointed expecting them on TV apart from archive clips.

I hope it's a success. It's a good couple of weeks with WWE putting on the Blackpool shows. ITV vs WWE putting on rival weekly UK TV shows would be amazing and so good for the wrestlers having more choices.

Not just good for the wrestlers to have more choice, if this were to happen, but also good for the wrestlers bank balance, as presumably the top stars could play ITV and WWE off of each other to get the best pay packet possible.

you have to feel the WWE UK championship thing is to tie up some wrestlers who may potentially have been picked up by someone like ITV should their 1 off WOS special be successful and picked up as a series...
(that is if the stories of them getting low value 1 year contracts are true & if they tie them to WWE tv work rather than others etc)

in the same way as NXT has seemingly been used to take the "best" from TNA etc and ruin their product

If the WOS thing is a success then never forget Simon Cowell has wanted to do a UK wrestling show... ITV is already working with him on various projects in slots that would suit the sort of show he likes to do... and Simon Cowell has even worked with the WWE on their music cds.... he can smell money in such addictive easy shows... remember red or black was one of his that went straight into a prime time slot - ITV want to work with him in these sorts of things.

According to WCPW the ones in the WWE UK Championship Tournament are free to work wherever they wish Inc WCPW and WOS.

However I think WWE can ask to use them at any time they wish so even if they have prior bookings WWE can say no we want you on that date even if it's the next day.

I suppose when(if) the weekly WWE TV show starts things may be different as then they will be seen as WWE exclusives.

I wonder how this WWE UK Exclusive show will work long term.

Will the champion be ending up on the PPVs defending his title or will the UK get their own PPVs along with a weekly show similar to how NXT is run.

I still wouldn't mind seeing Rousey v Nattie or Charlotte, potentially two good matchups for her.

I hope it is the latter, it would be great to see a bunch of very talented British wrestlers getting the chance on a weekly basis to perform to potentially millions of viewers each week.

I would like them to get a weekly show with a special every 3-4 months like NXT.

And maybe even at really big PPV'S (WM-Summerslam) have them defend it on the PPV even the pre show would be good for them plus of course whoever UK Champ is gets a spot in the Royal Rumble.

I thought that was enjoyable (WOS), better than I imagined it was going to be, and one thing I especially liked was the lighting, far better things being bright, and being able to see the crowd, than them being in the dark.

A good authoritarian figure as well.

Overall, I wouldn't mind seeing that as a regular weekend thing.

Yeah, enjoyable that. Max Beesley's dad did well as the authority figure and I think it was pretty respectful considering the perception of the mainstream as well as the lack of time a two hour show gives (according to the McMahons).

Anyway, has anyone else got an issue with Monday's Raw on their Sky guide (if you use that)? Mine isn't recording until Friday, and it's named the ATP Tour (with commentary by Coke, Graves and Saxton) which, whilst entertaining sounding, is a bit off. If I look at the right time, I get "no information" in the slot and can't set it.

Happy New Year to all of my fellow wrestling fans, hopefully we are in for a good year this one, just think this time last year AJ Styles had yet to debut in WWE, and look at him now, so who knows what this coming year has in store for us!

I think WWE made a few mistakes in 2016 but overall it wasn't a bad year there has been far worse.
