Also the business of wrestling itself is changing what was important a few years ago is less important today

Yes many mistakes have been made but even if they did not make 50% of them the state of tie business would unlikely be that much different.

People would still find something to complain about as that is today's culture

If not for Braun vs Sami, it would be another runaway win for Smackdown this week imo

"Viewership" would be down no matter what they did. Traditional viewership is becoming less and less relevant, yes it's partly due to the product but mainly due to other things as well. They could have a product as good as anything we have seen in wrestling and it still would likely be going down.

Yes the product has many problems but they being magnified by changes in entertainment industry and over exposure
