All charges were dropped against WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka today at an unscheduled hearing in Allentown, PA by Judge Kelly L. Banach, according to WFMZ-TV. The judge ruled that Snuka's mental health will not improve enough to stand trial. Congrats to Jimmy Snuka.
Snuka was facing third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges in the 1983 death of his then-girlfriend Nancy Argentino at a motel in Whitehall Township, PA. Snuka's lawyers have argued that he has dementia and is not fit to stand trial. Both the prosecution and the defense asked the judge to drop the case back in August if she believed Snuka's health would not improve. The judge needed more time to evaluate Snuka's condition and made her ruling today. |

Reigns is a great worker but miscast and not popular, Rollins has been booked awfully and isn't over as a face, Owens has been godawful booking-wise and poor in the ring since he got the belt and Jericho is doing a comedy gimmick but it's just been these four going round in a circle since about August. Honestly can't think of when it was last this poor, though that 2015 Rollins run was quite bad.
But otherwise it's easy to have a main event heel: You just let somebody beat up your main event faces. But main event faces can't be 'created'. The fans have to choose them. That's why the Reigns experiment wont ever work. It's also why the losses of Sting and Bryan are such a disaster. The only genuine main event face WWE now have is Cena. Ambrose is too small and too poor of a worker. AJ could be a huge face like in TNA but they wont let him out of arrogance. That's really, really bad. It shows a staggering arrogance and lack of foresight. There were loads of opportunities to create main event faces over the years which WWE rejected because it wasn't in their 'plan'. Well, now look where that 'plan' has got them. If the fans start cheering somebody in the main event you protect and cultivate that at all costs. |

"Viewership" would be down no matter what they did. Traditional viewership is becoming less and less relevant, yes it's partly due to the product but mainly due to other things as well. They could have a product as good as anything we have seen in wrestling and it still would likely be going down.
Yes the product has many problems but they being magnified by changes in entertainment industry and over exposure |

Their viewership is down more than the average decline. Their ticket sales haven't been impressive recently. They need to improve their writing and build stars who are actually over. Everything else is excuses.
The things that will make a difference (shortened Raw,Not being on TV every week, appealing to a different demographic etc etc) make zero sense in the real world so rightfully will never happen. |

This is why main event faces are so valuable. You can heel turn somebody and it will usually work. Only big counterexamples I can think of are Austin and Sting. The crowd wouldn't let those guys turn heel.
Well, now look where that 'plan' has got them. If the fans start cheering somebody in the main event you protect and cultivate that at all costs. I think Reigns is a great wrestler but he's miscast. To me he was at his best when he was doing the arrogant tweener bit after Mania til around July. They dropped it after he got suspended, which really was monumentally stupid. I thought he was so good in that role and the idea of an alternate universe where he was pushed in that direction facing off against People's Champion Daniel Bryan for the title is incredible. The one thing I don't agree with quite so much is that AJ Styles is not being used well out of arrogance. The guy is the champion and cornerstone of the best show on WWE TV and has been given the opportunity to knock it out of the park as a heel. I honestly think it's his best role and it makes sense for him to stay as a heel because it was clear that he would be facing Cena again sooner rather than later. Cena is someone who I've really grown to appreciate more and more in the last couple of years, even though I don't like the turn his in-ring work has taken since the Kevin Owens feud. His promos the last few weeks show how good he could have been if he was allowed to have the edge that many had been crying out for him to show. The man is a legend. Not sure if you heard this but Ryback (I think) stated recently that HHH told him that WWE doesn't want to have another Cena figure after he retires. This shows the myopia of the 'all about the brand' focus. Wrestling has always been based on larger than life stars to draw money. Without that it's just a slow and steady decline. If they aren't going to push anyone again, Vince should be looking to clone Big Match John. Quote:
The charges were dropped so naturally his family will be happy, always been a fan of Jimmy so yeah ill support him.

Catching up with Raw via YouTube. Damn, how many times have Reigns/Jericho and Rollins/Owens happened since the brand split?!
I know there is a sound argument in viewing habits changing, their approach changing etc. However, I do feel the draining of the well of a handful of 'names' in association with not making new megastars and lumbering creative narrative will seriously bite them on the arse in years to come. |

I liked that guy fake wrestling so he should be allowed to murder a couple of people here or there. What sort of sick mentality is that? |

We dont know the ins and outs of this though only what we have been told. Just because of something that allegadly happened you cant be a fan or support him?
But to congratulate someone from not being put on trial for such a serious offence for no other reason then a lack of mental faculties is going too far. Would you congratulate Jimmy Savile and his family for him avoiding standing trial for his alleged crimes because he was dead? Yes you might be fan but to be pleased for a murder trial not to go ahead based purely you liking a character on a tv show that is going to a whole different level of wrong and taking kayfabe to new levels even for you |

That said, Braun Strowman Vs Sami Zayn is a great feud and their women's division is producing quality match/feud after quality match/feud. It speaks volumes when Smackdown has gotten a masked female extra and a chinless mascot more over than 80% of RAW's roster. |

So rumours are Angle won't be taking any bumps in wwe should he return. Yet only a mere few weeks before mania, he's having arguably the most physical match up possible, a freaking cage match against cody rhodes.
Not sure if that's really reckless on Angles part, or a genius idea to prove he can still take the heat. It's very high risk though, Angle will no doubt go for that moonsault off the top of the cage.... |

Miz is being booked incredibly well on Smackdown and he's in the form of his career so I think they should leave him where he is.

I think know he can obviously take bumps but I don't think he can do a full time WWE schedule as that could be 250-300 matches a year.
He should come back as only part time in the ring even if he does other stuff. |

The company is different from when he was there before he goes against orders and would likely get a pay raise he does it in today's WWE and it's goodbye, He toes the line and it's a contract |

The potential rewards of bringing back Kurt Angle are nowhere near as big as the risks. The time has passed.
