I know this may sound really random, but I was just watching the "Superstars of Wrestling" programme on iPlayer, and it got me thinking, when was the last time Undertaker did an interview??

You see Cena, Steph,HHH, heck most if not the rest of the "locker room" doing loads of them practically daily, yet I can't for the life of me think of when Taker has done one in recent times.

I know that Kayfabe died decades ago, but in a way, is still alive for him? As he doesn't seem to really break character all that often does he?

Yes he is practically retired for all sense and purposes (bar perhaps the one match at Mania), but it just strikes me as a tad bit strange that everyone bar him seems to have to do a heck of a lot of media duty.

Simply put, WWE think it protects his aura. Has he ever spoken about Paul Bearer dying? Considering how important they were to each other you would think that would be the time to do something

True, it just seems strange in this era of the wrestlers seemingly doing more media appearances, and interviews then ever before, one man is left out (heck even Vince has to do financial calls etc) from them all.

I know it helps his character etc, and all just adds to his aura as you say, but he must be the last of his kind, as I can't see any other person being allowed to skip media duties for anywhere close to how long he has.

I wonder if when (as it is surely a when, not if) he is inducted into the Hall of Fame, will he even say anything out of character there?

I think its because he's really the only character that still has that kayfabe element too him, well him and Kane. Everybody else has these exaggerated reality personalities but those two still have that actual character.

I don't think I want him to do media. I know he's done some conventions and the like. Also, he's probably done his bit ober the last 25 years.

The fact of the matter is it doesn't matter who is Champ or who is on the show. They've pissed away too many fans with their kids wrestling product on after 9pm at night. And next week is July 4th. I think Raw 1.9 is coming very soon.
