AJ Styles was a complete ******* idiot costing Cena the match. It was so obvious John would return the favour. Anyone with common sense would have not interfered in Cena's match.

Dave's post like that are very old school, harking back to the days of kayfabe. There is merit in arguing from a critical standpoint it is overly predictable and makes the characters one dimensional. But then with so many hours to fill and judging on what pro wrestling is at its core. Steve Austin made some good comments on his podcast regarding how Vince hasn't been gutsy enough to fully embrace the so called Reality Era.
Speaking of different eras. I've been working my way through the final editions of Nitro that have recently been uploaded. Watching them without questioning the booking sense concerning business, the reboot and beyond episodes aren't even close to being as bad as I thought they'd be. Not sure if that's testement to how stale creative have become or if they were ahead of their time. |

I recently bought two t-shirts from WWE Euroshop; Austin 3:16 and Suplex City. Wearing the Austin one for the first time today because of Dress Down Friday. Really excited to see the response from people at work and THE MILLIONS AND...oh wait, wrong guy.
Does anyone here wear WWE merchandise in public? |

In 1997 he was in a bitter feud with Bret hart but when Bret had that Title match in a cage he went out to try and help him win the belt even though they hated each other because he knew if Bret won their match would get turned into a title match. To be honest im suprised no one else has thought of this logic. |

The point is anyone with half a brain wouldnt come out interfere in someones match and then not expect a payback when its your match. Its kinda like when 2 guys are feuding, one has a title match and the other will interfere and cost them the belt.

Well that US title contenders match was a complete waste of time. Thought they might at least had the winner get a match at the PPV. So Cesaro wins gets jumped by Del Rio, Fat Pig Rusev comes out says he wants the match now not later then calls Cesaro a coward to get the match straight away and Cesaro turns to jobbing. Yeah great plan WWE.
The Miz takes down Amrose on Miz TV why not just have the match instead of this naff segment. At least when they did it with AJ Styles he beat Miz up on the show. These type of segments the World Champ should be kept strong. |

Did they change the main event in japan last night? I thought it was Cena vs Nakamura but it was Jericho instead or is this a different show?

I googled it and seems like they changed the match to Owens/Nakamura, kinda shame really as I think they were supposed to do Lesnar/Owens instead. Not sure why they changed it as those sounded two good matchups, I think alot of fans wanted it to be a Network exclusive which sadly wasent.

Lesnar would not have been able to have a match due to his participation at UFC 200, no way Dana White was going to allow WWE to risk his box office draw.

So pretty much the most unappealing and most boring SD GM in WWE history turns screaming EXCUSE Me. Oh F*** off Vickie. I hated you doing that every week back then and Ill hate it even more now.
16 man elimination sounds good. |

Vickie, Kurt Angle or Paul Heyman are the Smackdown GMs I can think of.

What's the deal with this? Wasent Lesnar under WWE contract and Vince let him go to UFC for 1 match? Or is the main reason they let him go is so WWE gets Rousey for Mania next year?
