I guess Russo was right last Monday about WWE copying the Final Deletion. I wonder if he is right about WWE's PG version being a New Day member being thrown into poop lol.

New Era with the choosing of a new commissioner.

i think we just went 16-17 years back in time.

I agree and Commissioner sounds less powerfull than GM.

they just did it, a blatant copy of tna's final deletion

in saying that, it was a piss poor effort

So WWE saw TNA and thought "I know we'll copy the worse thing in wrestling history"

Less than 2 pages again for a live Raw. This brand spilt has to work as I guess like me, other people have given up with Raw until the split starts

I was planning to watch it all live last night as Vince was coming back and announcing the COO's.

But from what I can see it was the last segment and there was a lot of average filler in there as usual.

As expected the McKids are in charge, and I am glad Stephanie is running Raw whilst Shane has Smackdown. To me that's the better dynamic to go with as Stephanie will be running the perceived "A-show" whilst Shane is tasked with revamping the forgotten show.

I do plan to watch Raw and Smackdown live next week (Draft can't be missed) and then the following shows live too to see how WWE is doing with the Brand Split.

If they actually manage to put some effort in and improve the show creatively then great, but with WWE there's always the possibility of stagnation.

The Brand Split must surely improve the product. It can't go much further down than it already is.

Daniel Bryan and Triple H for general managers? Weird set up to have both a GM and a commisoner unless the idea is to keep Shane and Steph off TV often

Yep. And WWE totally missed the point by playing it so seriously.

Just waiting on the usual suspects like batdude to come out and say how much better WWE did it and that it wasn't a copy at all.

I don't think WWE did it better, I think TNA's version was better because it was full of little things that when you watch it back, like Senior Benjamin and the dialogue they say to each other, it's so over the top that you couldn't script it. You know what they said and did really came from them, it wasn't someone else putting words in their mouth and telling them what to do and you just can't script things like that and that's always the case in wrestling. The best things in wrestling are never scripted.

WWE clearly copied TNA, even before last Tuesday TNA had sent preview copies out the week prior, someone surely must have caught wind of it or even seen a preview copy of it. I can see WWE being petty about it and showing off because they have milllions of dollars to spend and TNA don't but as people seen last night, having money doesn't always mean you can do things better. What I would like to think the WWE took away from it was that maybe they could tell stories outside of the ring more and not always rely on everyone talking and fighting inside the arena. I'd like to think going forward that is the case but a big part of me thinks it's a one and done type of thing, it's just been doing to prove a point to TNA.

Terrible RAW. The Wyatt's/New Day thing was plain awful. I couldn't see WTF was happening and it got boring way too fast.

There's not one thing I give a shit about in the WWE apart from the New Day and even then they've become hit and miss (more of the latter recently).

Steph needs to stop slapping people as there is never any comeback plus she's a total shit and needs to **** off already. Take Shane with you too.

Owens and Zayn just seem to do the same punch fest thing everytime they meet. Looks stupid as hell.

WWE is utter shite. Glad UUDD exists so we get guaranteed entertainment on there.

That would be quite rich given how spectacularly they missed the point of the actual thing.

Yep that is getting ridiculous now, In the older era it made sense because you knew she would get a stunner or twist of fate etc, But now they can't do male on female violence deliberately so it fails. And there is no way in hell Steph will let a diva take her down because she is the alpha female in WWE
