So sick of Stephanie slapping people when someone says something she doesn't like. Shane's non-reaction and the peck on the cheek was a good response. Though obviously he can get away with that.

I'm having one of those days where I'm sitting back and thinking to myself did I really stay up to watch Raw last night? New Day/Wyatts thing was weird as hell and Vinces decision to have Stephanie as Raw commissioner and Shane as Smackdown commissioner with both of them having only a week to choose a GM for their respective shows just seems pointless to me cause regardless of what happens Shane and Stephanie are still gonna be on our screens every week.

Also Bob Backlund has made Darren Young great again (even though he wasn't that great to begin with) now watch him lose to Miz at Battleground

Can anyone explain (Didn't do raw so maybe the explained) Why do we have GM's and Commissioners? It makes sense if Shane is picking the GM for Steph and vice versa as you could then set up friction between the GM and Commissioner but why would they pick someone they won't get on with?
Is it me or does it seem like too many authority figures straight away? And it makes no sense. Would assume Shane picks HHH to throw things into a mix straight off |

I think the purpose of GMs is to have an authority figure that will be on TV every week and also all house shows for their brands whereas Shane and Stephanie are obviously too busy to attend house shows and Shane in particular probably won't be able to make every Smackdown filming every week due to his other commitments.

Suppose that makes sense on the Shane side of things, But Steph was on TV non stop for years without any other authority figure covering for her when the Authority angle was ongoing

It looks as though Daniel Bryan may be the GM for Smackdown as WWE's mobile app has leaked that the Yes Movement will be taking over Smackdown.
If that's true and Bryan has decided to come back on WWE TV (He has been hosting the Cruiserweight Classic) then that would be great as he's always awesome to watch. Hopefully WWE don't pull a swerve due to info being leaked. As for Raw it seems obvious HHH would be the GM. Who else would Steph trust to run the show. |

Just watched (well fast forwarded) Raw. I so hope this brand split makes everything better as right now my love for the WWE is at a all time low. It is so poor, everything about it is poor right now.
Agree about Steph slapping people still, very boring. Wish Brock would come back and F5 the bitch |

Less than 2 pages again for a live Raw. This brand spilt has to work as I guess like me, other people have given up with Raw until the split starts

Steph needs to stop slapping people as there is never any comeback plus she's a total shit and needs to **** off already. Take Shane with you too.

I dont want Hunter or Bryan as GM's Its too obviousl Bring someone back whos not been on TV for a while. Angle on Smackdown would be perfect,.
However I wouldn't mind Bryan being a GM. He's always good to watch and think he would enjoy doing it. |

Surely they will go with Hunter and then build towards HHH v Shane at Summerslam? Not that I really want HHH back as a GM as like noted above, I can just already picture both Raw and SD opening every single week with a 20 min promo with the respected GMs.

Some reports saying the belief is Hunter's comeback will be his rematch for the WWE Championship and that the Triple Threat at Battleground will lead to a F4Way at Summerslam rather than an involvement in the control issue.

WWE seems to have spoiled who the Smackdown GM is already.

The New Day/Wyatts segment was the best bit about last night's show IMO. It wasn't amazing but it was something different for RAW in general, as well as both teams. I don't watch TNA anymore, so I'm not comparing it to The Final Deletion.
Darren Young winning the Battle Royal (despite those weird VT's he's been doing with Bob Backlund) was a surprise. I don't care what happens with Young next though. It got rave reviews on another forum I'm a member of, but I was willing the Rollins Report segment to end. It wasn't awful but not interesting either. The Triple Threat at Battleground doesn't interest me in any way but I've not followed The Shield's career to date, so that's probably a big reason why. The tag division is awful. The Bullet Club are underwhelming, after the hype that they were generating on the aforementioned other forum. Their promos/backstage segments aren't entertaining, and I don't foresee Gallows or Anderson ripping up any trees after a Bullet Club split. I too think the idea of having both commissioners and GM's on RAW and SmackDown is stupid, but then I'm not hopeful that the brand split will make any significant difference to the product. In fact, I actually hope the ratings fall further following the brand split to see what WWE's next roll of the dice would be. |

Bryan is part of the Cruiserweight Classic commentary team, so could he be doing that and also be a GM??

Agree about Hunter. The Authority has been done for ages and we don't need to see any more but in reality who else would Stephanie pick?
However I wouldn't mind Bryan being a GM. He's always good to watch and think he would enjoy doing it. |
