I thought Smackdown got screwed bad after than first set of picks. Someone like Rusev would have been a perfect semi main event heel for Smackdown in the last brand split.

What the hell is Mojo Rawley doing being called up! He's still not ready for NXT.

The rumours of veterans being brought back came to nothing.

They may bring in people as 'new signings' over the next few weeks. But it makes no sense to think that Daniel Bryan would pick Rawley or someone ahead of people he knows like Joe, Nakamura and Aries.

Wouldn't this decision put Daniel on par with promoters such as Jim Herd and Dixie Carter.

Probably because WWE doesnt want them on the main roster yet.

Its just a shame that the GM's cant actually decide for real who they want on the brand.

Exactly. They could have at least said that people booked in NXT title matches were exempt to at least have some semblance of sense.

Looks like Brock is done for in the UFC, I wonder what WWE will do now in terms of punish, as they surely cannot not do anything.

I'd have preferred if they brought in the NXT champs and turned them into the inevitable new World, World Tag and World Women's Champions. That would have some legitimacy to it as NXT has taken on a more international flavour and become more respected.

As it is they'll shoehorn in a bunch of 'new' titles in a even less organic rehash of what they did in 2002.

Brilliant story on the most recent Bryan and Vinny show concerning American Alpha. Supposedly, as of yesterday afternoon, Jordan was going to be called up but not Chad Gable.

Insane.

That's an interesting way to go about it actually. The only issue is completely gutting the NXT brand. But I definitely would have liked to see Samoa Joe come to Smackdown as a top level heel.

I wouldn't believe an Alvarez 'scoop' in 2016.

Thought experiment - can anyone think of anything resembling an interesting Smackdown PPV card? I can't at all.

Wow that was a bizarre draft last night some strange decisions surprised Brock got drafted even though his hardly on TV also the final hour of the draft on the Network was strange Kalisto to Smackdown even though Raw is building a Cruiserweight division is something that I can't get my head around also Mojo Rawley seriously are you having a laugh WWE? It's sad that talents like Bayley and Samoa Joe are stuck on NXT yet muppets like Mojo Rawley get called up? I have nothing to say other than **** you WWE.

Im guessing WWE sees money in a Joe/Nakamura feud that will eventually happen in NXT.

I didnt like the decision Raw gets the Cruiserweight Division, that would have been more suited for Smackdown and have the Womens Division exclusive to Raw.

Given the mess that WWE is creatively, I don't think it's a massive stretch to think WWE were changing their minds on what talent was drafted from developmental.

Yeah Raws gonna be packed I know it's 3 hours but they have the Tag Team champions, Womens champion, and the Cruiserweight division all on the same show good luck trying to fit that all in along with a 20 minute promo. Must suck to be Becky Lynch at the moment stuck on Smackdown with no Womens title to chase and having to work with the likes of Naomi and Eva Marie.

I do think if Raw got the CW Division then SD should have got a exclusive division either women or tag.

I've been looking at Raw's new roster in terms of star power, all round ability and how the company seems to view them. Considering how much ratings have dropped since 2014, they're going to be slaughtered in the autumn. Unless there is some serious input into creative ideas, story consistency and character development.

They've got Reigns, Rollins, Owens, Sheamus, Jericho, Zayn, Cesaro, Balor, Neville, New Day, Enzo/Cass. In terms of ring work there is some great talent there, but it's going to take more than quality matches to get Raw back on track.

I feel NXT would be fine regardless. They'd still have Roode, Aries, Nakamura, Alpha, Bayley etc. Also possibly Ibushi and Sabre Jr. That's more than enough to run a mainstream promotion, let alone what's at heart a feeder promotion. It would have created a decent 'Summer of NXT' storyline where Regal rallies his troops to bring home the NXT titles in Brooklyn.

Never mind Becky Kalisto should be on Raw instead of Sin Cara due to Raws Cruiserweight division Kalisto must be looking at that Raw roster thinking to himself ah ****. Also Owens and Zayn on the same brand might be an indication that WWE are looking to prolong that feud after Battleground.
