ED- Boring Cain Dingle
Cain Dingle- boring, moody, scruffy looking, kidnaps people for a hobby
Im sick of him, the way he has been so judgemental with Belle when he knocked Amy up and then tried to force her to abort the baby. The hypocrisy is ridiculous, another example is him not wanting Ross anywhere near Debbie because he shot Robert. The same Robert he was prepared to kill himself to protect Aaron and thee same Robert he kidnapped and beat to a pulp. Maybe Cain should stop trying to control everyone's lives and instead try to work out why he cant go a week without punching/kidnapping someone. I used to like Cain, but he has now lost all humour that he once had, now all he does is grumble at people. |

I think he might be the next one to experiment with his sexuality. It seems the done thing for Emmerdale resident and with his passion for kidnapping and tying up attractive men hes clearly repressing something, might be why he's so angry and moody all the time.
Rakain anyone? |

I have never liked Cain. As for the OP's topic I don't find Cain boring lately, He's been kidnapping and karate kicking people the last few months. What more does the man have to do to not be considered boring anymore? |

How very dare you, I love my Cain.
![]() He's still great stuff. He just suffers from the same thing as all long-running characters - finding a new direction for him. I love him with Moira. He's always quality with Ross as well. Not so bothered about all the Dingle Head of the Famlee stuff, he should let them fight their own battles. It got old a long time ago. I don't get why they didn't do more with him and Kyle. That was shaping up to be potentially interesting They should have killed Joanie in the crash, had Cain take on Kyle. It would have spared us all Zak's vile affair, anyway, |

How can you like Ross and not like Cain? Or is it just about looks with Ross? Cuz that's the only difference Cain is not very attractive while Ross is one of the hottest guys in the dales.

The last episode I really enjoyed with Cain involved is when Ross and Cain nicked the cars from Declan. The banter between the two of them was great, they would make a good crime team. Just small crime though no kidnapping, maybe just nicking the odd car and scam a few people.

That was absolutely excellent. They really should do more of that. Cain and Ross could just be the best double act.

No its not about the looks, Im a straight guy. I like Ross because IMO he has the right blend of humour and craziness which Cain used to. I just find Cain boring and tedious with his constant bully boy act. Its got really old over the years. If Ross is in the show aslong as Cain and he is still kidnapping and punching someone every week and he loses his funny side I probably wont like him either.

I agree that Ross had the right blend of craziness and humor pre-Debbie, he became tedious after that. I've been starting to enjoy him again he has some of the best one liners. But if they put Ross back with Debbie I know I'll go back to not liking him, she really brings out the worst in him. And I'll take Cain kidnapping and punching people any day over more Ross/Debbie drama.

I think Cain sees Ross as a younger version of him, he winds everyone up, thinks the whole world is against him and he has lived a pretty exciting life. If it wasnt for Debbie they would probably get on.
Yet another reason to feel a bit pissed off with the whole Ross/Debbie borefest. |
