I think it was more of a riposte to the seemingly blasé attitude that Hollyoaks were showing in regards to the incest stories rather than having any malicious intent behind it.

WOW, Just popped to look at the thread & couldn't believe it when I read this!!

I think you've taken everything out of context. Previous comments made about incest on the Hollyoaks Daily thread have been in actual fact a pop at the show & it's OTT storylines & not incest survivors at all. For example Hollyoaks storyline with Dodger/Sienna was totally OTT & unreal, plus the fact that the show constantly have the same family members swapping partners etc. Even DS who recently did this quiz for viewers to find out which Hollyoaks character they are most like, mentioned as a joke the fact the same family members sleep & swap with the same people.

This! The fun about incest was not meant for incest in real life, it's for Hollyoaks where they take the mic out of it! I mean regarding Sienna/Dodger and Zack/Sonia/Lisa and even DS took the mic with the quiz!

I rather think people who've lived with incest would be more offended at the ridiculous way it's portrayed in hollyoaks

They also had a storyline where Dodger put up cctv all over that area, can't remember why now but it all seems forgotten about .... Really pees me off when they never look at cctv
