I have about 1000 cd albums.

Probably at least 100, maybe more, and that includes partial ones as well as complete ones

All mine are backed up to Itunes, 902 in total.

I haven't counted them for a while but i'd say about 850-900. Not sure.

About (and approximately.....I did count and try to categorise them a few years back), 4,300 CD's. I'm thinking of moving at present, having to move them as part of that stresses me out somewhat!

Which a bit low compared to others but I had my collection lost and damaged many years ago so i have been very very slowly been rebuilding my collection in terms of older music I previously did own.

Depends what you count as CD albums - most of my music exists solely on my hard drives, but could be burned to CD. I've probably got a couple of thousand physical CDs, but a lot of my stuff is downloaded live shows which probably take up a couple of CDs each if burned.
If you count each show as 1 CD and each physical CD as a single CD, even if it's a multi disc set - I've got around 12,000.
I know I'll never listen to it all, but it's nice to have plenty of choice!

I don't really know. I was buying on vinyl in the eighties and started picking up the occasional CD album from around 1988 although I didn't actually bother getting a CD player until 1992. I just bought things when they were too marked down in price to ignore. Think I had around 300 CDs albums before I could even play them at home.

After this I mainly switched format to CD as they were becoming easier to pick up at the right price and often had longer running time that the vinyl equivalents.

To this day, if an album is released on CD I'll usually pick up on that format but I do buy various vinyl albums that don't get a CD issue.

I'd say I have somewhere around 2000 vinyl LPs. Probably around 10000 CDs. I do have things I haven't played in years purely because I haven't got back to them.

I buy 7", 12" and 10" singles too. I like the 7" format and there ar plenty of reissue 45s that I'd quite like but if the A's and B's can be had on compilation CDs I can't justify the expense. What I seem to have almost stopped buying is CD singles.

Because hardly any are released. The Pet Shop Boys and New Order still release them. Not sure how many others.

Too many to count. Almost got the entire NTWICM series too, maybe that's not something to brag about though.

I've long since binned the few vinyl and cassette albums I owned. I have about 200 or so original CDs, most of which are multi-artist compilations or Best Of/Greatest Hits compilations. I thought that was a lot before I looked at this thread.
