What a hypocrite! His daughter was paralysed because of him. Plus he was out of Amy's life for years and never sees his son Richard!

Loathsome man!

Character drives me mad. He's just so cold and infuriating with his double standards. Actually hate the character.

I also hate how they never make roxy stand up to him. Her character is supposed to be brash and loud and tough, yet when confronted by Jack she always just takes it. So does Ronnie, she wouldn't let any man treat her sister that way but just seems to ignore it. Baffles the hell out of me

I think they forgot Penny exists. Also I have really grown to dislike Jack. DTC has given him the ruination potion like a lot of characters.

He's probably my most hated character at the moment. He needs to get back to snogging Mick and looking pretty, because this 'dad of the year' act isn't fooling anyone.

He's a massive hypocrite. He drifts in and out of Amy's life and thinks he can preach others on parenting.

Jack might not b e the best parent around by a long way, but as far as it goes he will always be miles better than Roxy

A potted plant makes a better parent than Roxy!

Jack doesn't have a lot of competition - but he's still a hypocrite.

And If he's so good maybe he should give some tips to his girlfriend. Ronnie "Can you watch Matthew" Mitchell

Jack and Roxy are both awful parents, they each just take turns in using Amy against the other.

It's difficult for most long term characters not to be hypocritical at some point to be fair.

Jack's definitely not going to win any father of the year awards. And I understand that at the moment he is trying to protect Amy, but why does he have to be so judgemental? Roxy's been looking after Amy all this time when he hoped and left the square, could be not be more supportive and help her top get back on her feet? Surely he realises that Amy and roxy miss each other? Hate the way he swan's around passing judgment on everyone. Hope grant takes him down a peg or two when he comes back.

He is a control freak and a bully never happier unless he is bossing someone around and being in charge, telling others how to run their lives.

EastEnders and other soaps contain characters who are scumbags and been involved in cheating, deception and even murder, it always makes me laugh when people suddenly label them as "hypocrites".
