I would LOVE this to happen!!!!
Corrie had been their flagship show for over 50 years yet they seem very reluctant to give us access to it's past, other than just the same old snippets been shown time & time again!!
I for one would love to see a continuous showing of two or three episodes a day on ITV3 from all eras of the show, but shown in series so we could follow storylines!!
I recently have discovered some episodes i haven't seen for years from 2006 on one of the online streaming sites & it was an absolute joy for me as I love the 00s!!
Surely there would be a big market for TV showings too, from , like I say, every era of the show!!

Don't quite understand why they don't do this to be honest.

Unless they don't want to be embarrassed by the quality of the old writing showing up how poor the show has become.

When Granada Plus closed down, didn't ITV3 show Corrie and Emmerdale reruns for a while before dropping them?

There isn't great ratings in soap repeats unfortunately. I'm also guessing there must be a financial reason behind ITV not showing reruns. Even if they weren't pulling in great ratings, they'd be a handy schedule filler, even in an early morning slot.

TV isn't the place for these old episodes anymore. The enormous length of the show means that whatever starting point they chose would leave some people disappointed. To grab the most viewers it's likely they would begin with episodes either from the late 90s or early 2000s. On the slim chance they started from an earlier point the episodes would be cut to bits.

Streaming and downloads are the future.

I think most of them have been re-uploaded by other users. Download them while you can!

ITV3 has never shown them.
