Soundbar without needing extra remote

What I've been looking for, and getting a variety of answers from staff in shops, is a decent soundbar that I can control with my Sky remote control. I had a setup before that needed to use the TV remote whilst everything else goes through the Sky remote. I dislike having remotes all over the place so I now have speakers through the headphone socket so changing the volume with the Sky remote changes that just fine, though the sound could be better. So, is there a sounder out there that the Sky remote can control?

If you stick to plugging the soundbar into the headphone socket then you can just continue to do what you are currently doing.

In some cases if the TV has ARC (Audio Return Channel) on an HDMI socket and you get a soundbar with ARC there may be a chance to control the soundbar volume as though they were the TV's own speakers using HDMI control (sometimes works best if the soundbar and TV are made by the same company).

Some soundbars have the ability to "learn" the TV's remote commands for volume etc, such as

Which might be another option.

Thanks, looks like it will work with TV remote - it's the Sky remote that usually struggles - though good reviews for the price so it's not too much of a gamble.

We have a LG tv and LG soundbar. The soundbar is connected to the tv via optical, and I can control the tv and soundbar with the sky remote.

Panasonic tv & matching soundbar connected via ARC here. The volume through the sb is controlled from the tv via the Sky or tv remote. The on-screen display reports Home Cinema Volume if the sb is switched on, or just Volume if not. Haven't used the sb remote since the day it fell out of its box.
