Apart from Live episodes and retcons, what mistakes or continuity errors have you noticed in a soap? I apologise if some of these aren't mistakes!

In last night's EE episode, Carmel called Masood by his real name - Nitin http://www.ok.co.uk/tv/eastenders/55...oods-real-name

An actor was also caught scratching his bum in the same episode: http://metro.co.uk/2016/06/03/an-ext...nders-5923004/

Abi seemed to have forgiven Lauren earlier this week but then in the next episode she was angry at Lauren and forgave her again - probably due to different writers for the episodes.

Sharon introduced herself to Janine even though they had met.

Shirley asked Kathy 'Is that the brother?' even though she had met Grant offscreen.

When Stacey showed Shabnam a picture of Bradley, Shabnam said that from the photo he seemed nice. However they were both on the square from 2007-2008 and must've met offscreen at some point.

Recently Sharon called Grant using the 'Notes' app on her phone

Cindy Beale mentioned naming Steven after her father (Edwin) who was referred to as Tom in 1998. Also she looked in the Yellow Pages to find an assassin for Ian!?

There have also been a few minor errors where a character's age/birthday is wrong or a phone shows the wrong date. There have even been errors when a character is pregnant for less than 9 months!

Also how many times has a soap publicly apologised for the mistake?

From the top of my head I only remember Corrie apologising for Kevin saying 'must be hard burying one of your kids' even though his child had died years ago.

How could you forget Tanya Cross calling Ian Beale, "Adam", which is the actors real life name (Adam Woodyatt.)

Cindy Beale? Didn't she get Barry Evans to get her the hitman for Ian?
Before my time that plot.

She meant to find Fly Fishing by JR Hartley but contacted JR Ewing instead

How odd. I have been watching JR Ewing clips all day today for the first time ever. What a villain.

The OP did say 'Apart from live episodes....'

How on earth did the "Alright Nitin" slip through the net. At least "How's Adam?" was live and couldn't be edited.

I can't remember any mistakes off the top of my head. I recall a few different haircuts from scene to scene or someone wearing a different colour top in one scene then it magically changing colour again but I can't name specific episodes where this occurred.

After being a lurker for 11 months I decided to be unoriginal and name it after #EELive from Live Week

It's a great name, I will always remember Live week. Kathy Sullivan stepping out that cab was fantastic . The fact it was even better than the actual "Who Killed Lucy Beale" saga reveal was a bonus after waiting for so long.

Didn't Jake Wood call Tanya Jo aswell? Apparently he said it very quickly and could be easily missed.

During the Live week or in general? How could they miss that before transmitting it?

Actually upon hearing it today if you listen very carefully she says 'you too' not 'Nitin' (although it sounds very similar)! This would make more sense as she wouldn't just ignore Denise . A spokesman of the show had to confirm today that Carmel didn't say Nitin.

Sounds nothing like Nitin in my opinion. She said the line that she was meant to say. But that's twitter land for you. Everyone's a critic and everyone's a gobshite who thinks they know it all on that place.
