Best stores for plus-size ladies' clothing?
Hello
![]() I have got myself fairly overweight, unfortunately..................anyway, I really need to buy some new clothes, and wondered if anyone could recommend me good shops selling plus-size items - either on the High Street or online - to buy some new outfits from. Either shops specialising in plus-size or other ones which include a range of plus-size. If you can help, thankyou very much. Moll x |

There is a lot of choice out there. Try looking at Evans, Yours, Simply Be for starters. I think Asos do larger sizes too. If you are looking for something more " exclusive" ( and expensive but beautifully made), have a look at Chesca, they are online but also have concessions in House of Fraser.

I saw some nice clothes in Yours. There was quite a lot of choice. There's an actual store in Ashford. I don't know where their other stores are. I prefer to try on clothes really, rather than buying online.

I find that most of the well known plus size shops just don't do stuff that suits my shape so I seem to buy most of my stuff in TK Maxx and M&S.

Yours is a brilliant shop, I love the one at Merry Hill!
I find though if you buy jeans/jeggings from them, go a size smaller as their sizing is generous, love their tops as well and they wash beautifully. Asda's George range goes up to a Size 24 on most things and are good value as well, I tend to get most of my "everyday" clothes and leggings from Asda and "going out" clothes and when I treat myself and jeggings from Yours. |

Try Matalan, Wallis H and M There is more choice now than ever, and young plus sizes are catered for now, which was often not the case a few years ago |
