EE - What exactly is Donna's problem with Buster?
As Buster rightly pointed out the other day, although they class their area as the clothing part of the market, none of them have had a problem with the Fruit and veg stall being there.

It's the old 'I have been here longer than you so I can tell you what you can and can't do' issue, it's the same as the scenario of when strangers walk into a pub and all the regulars stop what they are doing go quiet and just stare at them.

Fish stinks though...also buster was gutting or something earlier which is really off putting. I don't blame Donna for being annoyed.

Didn't he use up the extra space she wanted for herself?
They should make Kathy the new market inspector, she knows the market, ran her own business and it will give her something to do. |

I can't believe that the council would leave it so long before employing a new market inspector because wasn't part of that job collecting the stallholders pitch rent which means they are essentially there rent free and I can't see any council allowing anyone anything rent free especially in London.

After Buster pointed that out, Donna pointed out that fruit & veg doesn't stink.
I can't see what difference it would make being down there or up the top of the market. It's only a small market and people walk past the top to get down there anyway. Unless they wanted to be near the café. |

Maybe Buster moved the stall there to be nearer the Vic after Tracy the barmaid requested it because she likes the smell of fish.

She probably thinks he's a boring, pointless bastard. I know I do.

I'm not looking forward to the "Donna wanting a baby" storyline, and inevitably it'll end in tears.

No one is going to buy clothes that sink of fish. So Donna is totally in the right. A fish stall should not be at the clothes end of the market.

I can imagine TPTB sat in a meeting saying "here's an idea lets give our token disabled person a storyline first we will show how feisty she is by her having a dispute with another stallholder in the market and then we can show how caring she can be by giving her a having a baby storyline, right that's it, who's for a quick half down the pub"

I find Donna a pain in the arse, and now she's got the equally abrasive Roxy working for her.

The only thing that stinks is Eastenders in the summer. Prepare for months of the 'B-list' characters with their market stall dramas.

Nobody wants to buy clothes that is opposite a fish stall.

I thought they spelt it out quite plainly last night when Roxy asked her straight out....her life is so empty and lonely that she's worrying about petty things, like Buster and his fish stall.

She sees through his marvellous anti-personality and realises him as the dull, waste-of-space bellend he is?

Exactly, the next 2 months will be dire. Not to mention why Peggy's funeral is taking so long, has there been an explanation?
