Anybody watch this? I work in school office so I record it when I'm at work when it's on and watch it as I'm having my tea.

What's people's on Dion Dublin? at first I wasn't sure on him but I must admit he has grown on me and I think he's a good addition to the show.

What do people think to the show and to Dion Dublin

My favourite episode was last week when there was that politician chap on who was also a tv theme collector which mean they actually played loads of different music throughotu - replacing the auction music and the estate agents music.

was good.

ps dion dublin seemed an odd choice at first but hes settled into it now

He is growing on me a little bit but!... I don't know why we needed another presenter unless of course Martin was wanting to scale down his travelling!.... Lucy never goes out of her south/east London/kent areas does she!....

Tonight's parody on Big Brother BOTS is the first time I've ever seen Martin and Lucy valuing a house *together*. Worth accidentally tuning in.

I know Dion is the youngest presentet, but he seems to treat the show as a fashion show almost every epidsode he is on he has a different new coat on,and his newly spray on jeans come in a varity of colours ,Where martin always has the same hairstyle to cover his newly hair transplant, same baggy shirts hanging over his paunch, Lucy is smarter than martin but she likes to wear black boots, and jeans/trousers,same hair style in every show.

My only beef about HOTH is that no-one ever puts a value on their time, so that the cost of renovations is almost always the materials only. Or, in other words, the 'profit' is actually their wages for doing all the work. Not a big deal, but maybe important to spell out.

I always feel like Martin and Lucy know what they are talking about but when it's Dion he has been told what to say and it sounds quite stilted.

I can't understand why this show isn't shown in a better time slot, I think it would get good ratings on a weekday evening. It's quite addictive!

I find Dion's voice over bits irritating, he's very wooden and it sounds forced. Whereas when he's chatting to the people who've bought the house he's much better and I don't mind him. But I do prefer the repeats where Martin does 2 houses and Lucy 1 (usually in the south east - though she did come up here to St Annes in Lancashire in one I saw on one of the Sky channels recently).

She was in Normanton (the one in derbyshire) today (which may or may not have been a repeat)

This Mitchell and Webb could have been based on Home's under the Hammer. Or perhaps it actually was?

If they got rid of the endless 'find out later in the program' and repeats of what's been already been shown, they could lose 20mins from the show and make it far more watchable.

It makes me proud all over to see the number of eastern europeans and other foreign nationals creaming in the profits from the bountiful UK property market.

His arse was hanging out of his trousers a year ago when he entered the UK, now Slobodan and his shifty looking sidekick are set to make £30K profit from the sale of this terraced house in Rochdale.

Dave Gorman did a skit about the music in it: http://uktvplay.uktv.co.uk/shows/dav...=4445011445001 about 2 minutes 30 in.

I didn't think she ever left the South East.

I bet she was shocked when the 4 bed detached house up north was cheaper than the 1 bed shoeboxes in Croydon she usually looks around.

My parents love this show and would probably watch all day if they could, even though mum says she can only watch 2 episodes at a time at the most. They're doing up an old flat and they watch it to get ideas from. I don't mind it in small doses, but there's only so many dilapidated old houses one can look at in a day. The puns and music are funny

Myself and a work colleague watch this in the school holidays. We feel bereft when we have to return to work!

Must admit it has taken me a bit of time to get used to Dion but I feel like he's becoming part of the furniture. (Insert music pun playing randomly in the background)

I love guessing which projects actually listen to Lucy and Martin. Oh and I can also spot non-standard construction a mile off on my Right Move app. *proud*

Although rarely budged from 10am by the Beeb HUTH does show up in evening slots on Home and Really fairly frequently - I've seen it at 11pm before, which was quite surreal...

I wonder if Lucy still has that house she bought at auction, without seeing it first, she renovated and did a show about it...

Yes...i do wonder about all the seemingly foreign buyers

Why do they always tape over the number on the houses they feature.

Privacy reasons maybe?

I've seen HUTH on Discovery Home and Health a lot. Sometimes they have all-day marathons on Saturdays and Sundays. I think that's going a bit too far...

Lucy has a daughter who has special needs, I think, so her availability might be limited.

That's what I was saying as well the other day Andy, it's usually Kent, South London with an occasional trip over the river into East London!.... lol..... But what about today then?.... Wowee Northern Ireland !.. don't think we have ever been there before!. and It's Lucy there not Martin!..... whats going on I wonder?, there is a definite shift about somewhere!...

Yes I did know that she has a daughter that has some sort of special needs but!... hey maybe things are better with her now eh and she can broaden out a bit more!..... She certainly seems to be beaming on the films and looks as happy as Larry!...... It's good to see...

..
it's usually easy to find the full address by checking up on the final listing for the auction in question
