Sarah should be charged with Callum's murder (spoiler warning)
Instead of Jason. Sick of seeing her whiny face every episode and going into complete hysterics. She is so fragile I am surprised the Weatherfield plod haven't already broken her, especially as she is making out she killed him. Anything to get her away off-screen for a while.

![]() I'm surprised David lets her be out and about on her own so much - he's well aware that she's the weakest link and is bound to give them away ![]() I wouldn't mind seeing her locked up for a bit until Weatherfield police work out who really did it. |

Sarah Platt brought it upon herself in my opinion. She was warned again and again to stay away from Callum Logan by her family and she could see with her own eyes how he was tearing her family apart and she wasn't bothered. The Platt children are all selfish individuals. We need strong Gail Rodwell back.
In her defence she didn't kill him and then her Kylie Platt and David Platt decide to hide the body in their living quarters. She then has to look his child Max Turner in the face everyday whilst finding out is pregnant with his baby. Then the baby arrives and she is terrified Harry Platt will turn out the same and is confused to the hills. Not to mention the constant worry of police before and after the discovery of the body. She is worried about jail and leaving Bethany Platt and Harry behind. She can't rely on her brother and sister in law as they seem quick to ditch her at times and now she is having a breakdown. Good actress but it is getting boring now. Well Coronation Street is boring these last few years. |

I agree. What makes it worse is that when he was tormenting her family she always stood there with a smirk on her face, despite David kindly giving her accommodation. Heck, even when she learned Callum kidnapped David and beat him up it didn't bother her. She had no problems with Callum as he was spending money on her and making her feel special, but once he dumped her she allied with David.

I hope not Sarah is my favourite character.
![]() It's obvious Sarah is not well and also poor Harry if Sarah goes to jail and finally no one should be locked up for a crime they didn't commit it was Kylie who did the crime that's the one who should go to prison for Murder. If Sarah goes to prison so should David as they both committed the same crime. |

Which is why I don't care when David turns on her or looks out for his wife and kids. I have never even seen Sarah spend time with her niece Lily Platt?
I agree though it's a shame there hasn't been any interaction with Lily and Sarah but she does show concern for Max. |

Sarah has the same illness has Stacey in EastEnders Postpartum psychosis so she'll be sectioned. Personally I think Tina is doing a fantastic job.

![]() ![]() Totally agree Tina was brilliant in the Bethany pregnancy storyline, the Gary storyline and the aftermath of Billy's death and now again in this storyline. I just hope she gets a friend in the future as the only female characters she ever interacts with are her family Gail, Audrey, Kylie and Bethany, in fact she hasn't had a friend since Candice left. I totally agree - I think Tina O'Brien is a cracking little actress.

And why should she be charged just because she's suffering from post partum depression, when she didn't kill him and because you're fed up with seeing her being so fragile and you don't understand what giving birth can do to a woman's mental state. And that isn't a spoiler - it's speculation on what might happen. This is a spoiler:

I really don't like the character, so I wouldn't mind if she ended up in prison

It's annoying me more that Kylie hasn't felt any remorse for what she did. Yes Callam was a nasty bit of work but he was still the father of her son and she loved him once. Kylie should be the one going weird and imagining seeing Callum, not Sarah.

Sarah's breakdown is due to her situation where as with Stacy Fowler it was going to happen regardless. Viewers complained that Coronation Street was copying Eastenders so this is what the actress said also stating the plot was planned months in advance just like EE. |

It's made me dislike the character again of David which is a shame as I have been fan of his for the last few years. As for Kylie I'm glad she's been supportive of Sarah but I agree all she's said is that she's sorry for what she's done but we haven't seen any remorse really from her on screen. |

I like Sarah a lot as a character but I haven't liked her much since she got pregnant with Callums baby. Im really over this whole storyline and can't wait for all to be discovered so she can get help and move on. I like her much more when she's playing fun/ditzy, she actually gets a bit annoying to watch playing the more dramatic emotions.

The transformation in Tina's acting has been strange imo!!
During the time she was playing Callum's girlfriend her acting was just so diabolically bad & I was praying they'd realise their mistake in bringing Sarah back & ship her back off to Milan ASAP!! Then came the live episode where she was the star of the show & since then she has just got better & better, until now, with support from Jack P Shepherd, Paula Lane & Bruno Langley she is literally carrying the show for me in the last few episodes!! |

Tina's acting the part well enough but this storyline's as far removed from a realistic depiction of postpartum psychosis as you can get. That's not what Sarah has.
Sarah has shown some of the classic symptoms when she kept insisting there was something wrong with Harry and took him to the hospital, but it can lead to other anxieties and seeing "Callum", the baby's father, in the street even knowing he's dead and she had a hand in it would be one of them. |

You obviously haven't suffered from it being male. I have and it can take many forms.

The fact that she had such a delayed onset after childbirth argues more for an extreme version of PTSD. Symptoms appear no more than 30 days into the peurperium. Sorry to hear about your illness. It's a nasty thing to go through. |

Callum didn't love Sarah. Not really. He was just using her to piss David off. It was Kylie he really wanted. Callum loved her. He proved that when he was trying it on with her, and wanted her back
So yeah, it should be Kylie going mental and seeing him, since she killed him and she was his girlfriend first, and also first to have his kid. Besides if it wasn't for her, Callum would have never been in the show in the first place Kylie doesn't go to his funeral. But:

I'm guessing that's why but I dunno Wonder what Harry will be like when he's old enough to know everything. Bet he'll give Sarah hell for being involved in his Dad's death. The next Simon Barlow I'm betting!!
