The best thing in Corrie at the moment - Todd and Sarah
I've been loving their friendship in the past few weeks, but Friday's episodes, for the first time in ages, I was in awe of Corrie because of their scenes - Sarah's involvement in Callum's death along with Todd and Billy trying to help her is brilliant.
Anyone else agree? |

I wouldn't say I like it that much as Sarah Platt is a horrible character and I never liked her with Jason Grimshaw ever. Todd Grimshaw is now going through his nice phase aka they don't know what to do with him...
I liked the whole coming out plot and that would be hard to beat for me. |

Sadly it isn't for me. And while i have been a big fan of Sarah in the past, I struggle to like and feel sorry for her this time around since her return. No one forced her to have Callum's child and she was an idiot in allowing Kylie to guilt trip her in to cancelling the abortion.

Yes, I am enjoying the scenes involving any combination of Todd, Sarah and Billy, because they are all competent actors and the two men, at least, are interesting and appealing characters.

I liked how they remembered Billy Platt in both the last episodes and during Sarah giving birth, it was a nice touch.

Todd is playing a great part, very watchable. Sarah - no, not for me. Roy is always excellent and young Amy is very good.

The issue is the way Corrie is at the minute you know it's only so long before Billy's sympathetic ear to Todd becomes a bit more than that and you have to suffer Sean Tully centric episodes. It's about the worst possible outcome of this, so you can guarantee it's where the shows going.
The whole Billy thing is utterly ridiculous, as a vicar he'd be duty-bound to report anything involving a crime to the police, following the revision of the guidelines earlier in the year - he definitely shouldn't have promised to keep whatever Todd said a secret. I know Todd's technically a friend rather than a parishioner but good luck with that one at tribunal/court. https://www.churchofengland.org/abou...uidelines.aspx Specifically 3.6 and 12.5. Murder would be a serious crime. It would have took the writers/producers a single google to find this document. It's this shoddy attitude that is ruining, yes, ruining what was once the greatest fixture of British television. |

I like their (Sarah and Todd) scenes (especially as I'm a Sarah fan) they have so much history going back to 2001 but Sarah needs a female friend (that's not any of her family members Audrey, Gail, Bethany and Kylie) in my opinion as well she hasn't had one on screen since Candice left.

I like the scene with Sarah and Todd. I much prefer his version of Todd to the one who returned a couple of years ago |

I agree. I am glad they are allowing Todd to be more like his old self again, and not the vindictive character he returned as. It would be interesting to know what happened to him in London to change him so much.

Sarah was friends with Maria before Sarah left for Italy but that seems to have been forgotten about.
Also have Sarah and Maria even had a conversation since Sarah returned last year? |

I can see them (the scriptwriters) turning him straight again
