I have a .csv file which is the result of exporting contacts from a talktalk email account. What is the easiest way of getting these onto an iPad ?

Sorted it by importing to a Gmail account that had no contacts and then exporting as a .vcf, then imported to contacts on a Mac which then sync'ed to the iPad. Seems a bit of a tortuous workaround but par for the course with Apple I'm afraid.
