What do you think guys? it never lived up to the hype but I enjoyed Watch Dogs, the video isn't much mind.

Never completed the first game so doubt I'll have much interest in this one. Also will anyone believe the graphics Ubisoft will show off in any of their videos?

Yes I remember that, it was up to a modder to find the files and make a mod that had those graphics.
Hey who knows, I welcome it let's do it

Well Ubisoft do have history in making the sequel to a severely underwhelming game with a fantastic premise into a belter of a follow up.
Now if they can do to this franchise what they did with Assassin's Creed (except for the yearly releases shenanigans), that'd be great. |

Looking forward to it. The original Watch Dogs wasn't that bad - graphically it was half-baked but the premise was solid. Hopefully this will be like the transition from AC1 to AC2 when suddenly things get a lot rosier.
We'll (probably) see in November. Hopefully this one isn't pushed back like the last.. |

AC2 > AC 1 / AC4 > AC3 / AC Syndicate > AC Unity re Watchdogs I recall the main campaign being pretty cool but the side missions being too repetitive and copy /paste apart from the gang take downs. I could have done those all day. |

Ubi refine and evolve? They have been making the same 'map-full-of-icons-with-boring-side quest games' for YEARS.

But at the same time Assassins Creed had potential from the start where as Watch Dogs - even during it's "peak hype" season - did not once strike me as intriguing. |

It was OK but basically just another cookie cutter Ubisoft open world action game, Assassin's Creed with a smartphone. Not that fussed about the sequel.

Currently looking at the world premiere that's live atm
It looks bland garbage, there's a lot of "This is Watch Dogs potential fully realized!!!" but no, it looks just as dull as Watch Dogs 1, and there's a lot of pretentious talk about how hacking is this master craft, give me a break |

Anyone who thinks the game will actually look anything like what was presented today upon release hasn't been paying very much attention

I must be in the minority who enjoyed Watch Dogs, and I had a more limited gameplay experience as I played it on a last-gen console (PS3).
Yes, it did suffer from Ubisoft-itis with the obvious Assassins Creed influences, but I do think the hacking gameplay was genuinely fun and interesting. Nothing in the game lived up to the initial gameplay trailers though, which turned out to be very clearly staged. |

You're correct and everyone knows it, but would they do it again?
Guess we must wait and see, who knows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNter0oEYxc So given their track record as of late I'd be willing to bet that Watch Dogs 2 will only be slightly better graphically than Watch Dogs 1, if at all even. |

This is a youtube video that got uploaded just a few days ago which already has over 1 million views which reveals that every major Ubisoft title since Far Cry 3 has had a major, major graphical downgrade between announcement and release:

Gameplay footage
https://youtu.be/W4oWfbqzGd0 We all know Ubisoft's track record with downgrades, but this is looking pretty nice. Controller prompts suggest it's the PS4 version. Some footage with added developer waffle. https://youtu.be/m2qEYCuFxGs |

in theory it looks fantastic and if it was any other dev I would be super excited... but it's Ubisoft. Launch won't even come close.

You can see PS4 prompts. I just hope it's not "PS4.5/Neo/4K" footage which will look downgraded on a regular PS4 as I think it looks great!
