Just completed this this evening and got the platinum trophy. Huge improvement over the original in every way. An overlooked gem in my opinion. The thinking man's GTA as it's not all shooty shooty bang bang in a wonderfully realised city but it has some tricky puzzles with the hacking element too. It's pretty challenging too. You'll find yourself under threat fairly often even if you're a third person shooter veteran. My game of the year.

Hi peeps,
just a quick question about co-op missions on the ps4. Is there any way to stop people joining when you start a co-op mission. I'm old school as I started playing games in the 70's and 80's and prefer single player most of the time. As far as I'm aware I've turned everything off in the settings and also stopped it searching for a player when I commence the mission. It's ruining my enjoyment when a random player joins and goes blasting in when I'm trying stealth. I don't really want to take my ps4 offline every time I play the game. Thank you for any help you can give

Thanks for your reply. I've turned it all off but still get players joining. Maybe I'll have to learn to be less antisocial haha.

I got this for Christmas and didn't get round to playing it until today, but oh my god, it is SO much better than the original Watch Dogs in almost every conceivable way thus far. Likeable characters, bright and colourful overworld, great stealth sequences and action sequences, even a surprisingly high amount of decent humour, it's just a fun game that I look forward to picking up again, which is something the original didn't have.
I know it's popular to hate on Ubisoft as "the lesser evil of Ubi, EA and Activision", but one thing I've always admired about Ubisoft is they always tend to listen to the consumer and tweak their games accordingly, whether it be the difference between Far Cry 2 and 3, not releasing an Assassins' Creed during 2016, or really upping the ante with Watch Dogs 2, they're a company I have some serious respect for despite all the slightly shady stuff they do. |

Just using the RC and drone are fun, so I haven't been doing the main story at all, just getting cash, hacks & clothing pickups. Seems like none of the guns have silencers? I bought the core dump pistol with what looked like a silencer on it but firing it makes a sound enemies react to.

I quite enjoyed the first one so I'm awaiting this one going on sale for the PS4 for a better price. Has anyone seen any deals about?
Scratch that, I just got an amazon voucher through quidco that covered half the price.

Enjoy! It's so much fun with a lot of variety and it's quite funny with a lot of modern day references. The only thing I had issue with was the controls at first but once I got to grips with them, it was a doddle to get around stealthily & using the various hacks and equipment on offer.

Well it arrived today and first impressions are good. I've done the intro round without using my gun although I've done lots of melee attacks. I've also been to the hacking bunker but that's about as far as I've got so far. The hacking seems much more refined, with multiple options for each hackable object. The game looks beautiful and best of all, the characters seem much more likeable than those from the first game. |

The game is so much better than 1, but dear lord the driving is still terrible, surely they could implement some decent handling for the cars. It just feels like an after thought.
