The Saturdays-Mollie King set to release new music in the Summer

I loved The Saturdays, but Mollie was my least favourite member. I found her voice to be younger than her years, if that makes any sense.

However, even though I'm not keen on Mollie's voice, I will be interested to see if her music is any good. Her music needs to be amazing to compensate for her weak voice in my opinion, otherwise she has no chance of being successful in the charts. She needs a good track, not something bland

What do you think? Does Mollie have a chance of a music career?

I do find it a bit odd how Mollie has been signed up to a record label, but Vanessa and Rochelle, who were the strongest singers haven't?

I'm not sure if she'll do well, but I'm looking forward to hearing what she comes out with. Vanessa released an EP earlier this year but I think she went independent rather than going to a record label. It's not pop, more like R&B music, but it's really good.

Mollie always had the weakest voice in the group but it doesn't surprise me that she has a solo deal. I couldn't imagine her singing on her own though or being interviewed.

No doubt with an album of songs all written by herself. She's probably got her hand in on the production side too?

Considering the Saturdays hardly went out with a bang (flop Greatest Hits, tour sold 2 for 1 on Groupon), I can't see there being much interest either from the media or public.
