Filming for the arena auditions is starting at the end of June. So I guess they have finally signed this year's judges! They haven't taken this long for announcement for as long as I can remember!

What we know so far:
- Dannii is definitely not returning
- Luke Jacobz won't be returning as host
- Guy Sebastian might return if he has the time in his schedule
- Chris Isaak probably won't be returning as he is focusing on touring

My ideas for judges:
* Avril Lavigne
* Mel B
* Pink
* or one of The Veronicas
* Guy Sebastian
* James Blunt
* Robbie Williams

I doubt Mel B would go back and I reckon there is more chance of Robbie doing the Voice uk rather that X factor Australia

What are people's thoughts on Marcia Hines of Australian Idol?

They should have tried Robbie on XFUK last year instead of Nick

aww I'm gutted Chris Isaak isn't returning, really like him as a mentor as he really seemed to care about his acts. Thank god Dannii is gone, the only act she mentored well during her whole time on OZ was Dami and she could sing the phone book.

I doubt Mel will be back. It has been alluded to more than once that she was unpopular behind the scenes. I really hope they get some Aussie talent like Jessica Mauboy, the Veronicas or Tina Arena.

Luke isn't back hosting??

Iggy would be quite good. She is international and an Aussie so makes sense. Interesting to see who else is on the panel. Wonder if Guy is back?

So It is Iggy!!!

I know she's hardly Beyonce but sad state of affairs that an Australian show can get international stars still selling records globally and we have Simon, Louis and Sharon

Tragic.

Hope James Blunt is back.

The contracts are probably different on the Australian show. Based on the interview where Charlotte Church talked about when she was approached to be on the show, the contracts on the UK show are so restrictive that no big stars would agree to them.

It sounds like this year they are having a (very) short series. Iggy has said that apart from filming auditions for a week at the end of June she will only be in Australia for the month of November which will have all the live shows, so all up XFAU will take only 5 weeks as a judge! I'm so confused, how is that even possible? No bootcamp or judges' houses and only 4 weeks of live shows!!!

In the third and last season of X Factor 2012 in Germany we had only four live shows. In the first two Shows the acts each categorie were battleing against their categorie mates, It means that in those live shows four acts- one each categorie were eliminated. Only week three, the semi final was an open competition. Maybe they do something like this in Australia. But to be honest, now you know why there is still no X Factor in Germany.

She'll probably be doing what Sharon did and travel from wherever she is in the world to the live show on Saturday and Sunday, then go back to where she needs to be. I can't see XF Aus doing something that extreme as they seem to know what to do on their show.

There was a lot of speculation that the show would be "rested" in 2016 after poor ratings in 2015. The shortened run sounds like a compromise.

Wonder who else is joining Iggy: https://twitter.com/thexfactor_au/st...19277499502592

TBH can't see any of last years lot returning - also wonder who's gonna host.

They posted on Facebook that there will be a super-sized announcement on monday, who will join Iggy on the panel.
- Top of the Charts
- Records he's broken
- A super nice guy
100% smokin'

I'm really not sure, but with this notes I can't see one of the old judges returning.
I still hope that James is coming back. He was great as a judge and mentor.
Any ideas?
