I reckon it could be Jason Derulo. He's always been vocal about wanting to judge a talent show and he's had quite a lot of success in Australia.

Records he's broken could be aussie icon Jimmy Barnes. He has nine nr. 1 singles in AU and with that he is their most succesful singer. He would be the obvious choice to replace Chris Isaak.

Super nice guy could be Guy but I hope he isn't back this year.

Jason Derulo has been surprisingly popular in Australia and so it could be him. The reduced number of live shows would also suit his schedule.

I'm guessing these are clues for a different judge to the one they last posted clues for. I'm thinking Guy Sebastian/Samantha Jade/Dami Im. Anyone think they might only have 3 judges this year since its sounding like a small series?

I'm a fan of Samantha Jade, but I'm not sure how she would be as an X-Factor judge. Same for Dami.

Sammy would be great. such a good artist and really hot. But I think Iggy will be the only female judge. I'd say the judges are Jimmy Barnes (as a true aussie star) and returning Guy Sebastian (no stranger to winning). But I have no idea who could be the last new judge.

I really hope it's gonna be Sammy. It could really help her career in Australia even more. A little bit like Delta. I don't think it's Dami. She has a big tour coming up.

Of course, I would love to see Sammy on the panel but I think she's a bit too nice and may get a lot of extra criticism for being a former contestant. This is off-topic but how is her career going in Australia? I thought she was in a pretty good place, as Always did okay and she landed the role in Home and Away.

Yeah her career is fine, she has landed a new gig on a new mini-serie coming up later this fall on Channel 9 and she was in London just a few days ago for her next album but you know, it's hard for a local artist to compete with international artist. Samantha is doing good but to get a high profile job on x factor could rise her profile even more but like you said it could also damage her career. She's indeed too nice for the role and i don't want to see her get booed like the audience like to do most of the time.

Ok, this isn't a big surprise after the latest notes. So it seems that Sammy isn't become a judge. I'm not a big fan of Guy and I will miss James more if Guy were also going to leave.

I can see the first season on 7 where they have more aussie judges than in the past. It will be interesting which Impact this fact has on the ratings.

Now I checked that all the notes were obviously key notes for Guy. I thougth they were for the complete panel which will announce today. How wrong. Can't wait to see what superlative notes they will find for the rest.

The aussies are crazy people. So much effort for returning judge Guy.

Why they aren't doing room auditions if they will do a cheaper season? Reducing the number of judges is the wrong way and I think it's going to be boring.

I can see that this will be the last season before the show will be rested.

The price they paid for Iggy and Adam probably doesn't equate for a cheaper season

For me it's a bit strange when you had 4 judges and then you go down to three. Normally it should be the other way.

They stint at the wrong end for me.

Probably because of the shorter season as well, 3 acts each only makes 9 acts - which may be helpful with only 4 weeks of live shows

Adam Lambert is official now. I predict that the 5 seat challenge will become a 4 seat challenge.
So they not only save the 4th judge but also the judges houses stage. There isn't also a host at the beginning how it's look like.

This cheap season will be a shame. Will be no surprise if it's the last one before it get rested.

Adam Lambert is a good get. Him always charting well in Oz helps i'm sure.
