I reckon it could be Jason Derulo. He's always been vocal about wanting to judge a talent show and he's had quite a lot of success in Australia.
He is a judge on So You Think You Can Dance in the US.

One of the world biggest star and Mel B seems like a joke for me.

World biggest stars? That couldn't be Mel B!
Well she was. But the late 90's was a long time ago

This series will premiere on Monday October 3. The categories are under 22, over 22 and groups. There's no new news on the 'underdog' judge yet.

So after the olympics rigth? They are over for quite a while. Funny people these aussies.

After being a part of The X Factor UK again, I think it's really clear, that Mel B is the underdog judge. Only Simon knows why.

It is technically after the Olympics 😂 You do seem determined to just slag off this season regardless

Very bad start of this season. 904,000 viewers and only rank 6 in the overnight ratings. As that wasn't enough, they're going to replace the judges houses with the 3 chair challenge.

IdolFactor shows outside uk/USA/Canada usually (and especially Australian from what I heard) tend to attract and put through and even choose as winners (with exception of J Mauby) acts that are forgettable and vocally not good enough to even fairly make bootcamp in the UK/USA, so I am unsurprised . I stopped paying attention to that show after season 2. No thanks.

Don't think Im gonna watch XF Aus this year, not got the time to watch UK and Aus. I watched it year Dami Im won, then following year and last year with Cyrus. I'll have a look at who makes lives see if theres anyone interesting. Judges don't seem that great either now that Danni Minogue has gone.

This is the better X Factor nowadays.

I mean no matter what you think of these acts but they have had Taylor Henderson, Louise Adams, Jess & Matt, Reece Mastin, Declan Sykes, Three Wishez, Bella Ferraro, Dean Ray, and even though she wasn't exceptional they did have a House singer on the show in Natalie last year.

When will the UK X Factor ever have these people?

I'm looking forward to the lives this year in hope that there's gonna be some good performances that I don't think the UK edition will have.

MEL B is returning to the X Factor Australia judging panel in a shock move.

The former Spice Girl was at the centre of a bitter court battle three years ago when she tried to defect from the hit Channel Seven show to Nine’s Australia’s Got Talent.

The NSW Supreme Court blocked the defection, though Mel B later appeared on Nine’s The Voice Kids.

Seven has clearly forgiven Mel B in the interests of securing an international name bound to get people talking.

She was tonight announced as the mystery fourth X Factor judge, alongside format veteran Guy Sebastian and newcomers Iggy Azalea and Adam Lambert.

The singer born Melanie Brown will mentor the “underdog” group when the competition goes into the live stage later this month, looking after contestants other judges have said no to.

“Doesn’t everybody always love an underdog, where you see someone get told no and then they all of a sudden rise above everything and show everybody what they are made of?” she asked.

“To add that element, you are going to see a whole different kind of spirit on that show.”

Brown said she identified with the underdog.

“Success hasn’t come easy for me, so I appreciate everything that I’ve got and what I’ve done so I’d consider myself an underdog,” she said.

The 41-year-old is due to fly into Sydney next week and plans on setting up a home here with her three kids and husband for the duration of shooting.

Brown is busy at the moment, also appearing as a judge on Lip Sync Battle UK and on the panel alongside Heidi Klum on America’s Got Talent.

“I don’t do anything that I don’t enjoy,” she said.

“I am a worker at the end of the day; I love to work, I love to mentor and I love to see end results.”

Brown has worked with Sebastian and knows Lambert, but she is yet to meet Azalea.

“I’ve watched a few of the episodes and Iggy is very articulate and she knows what she likes and what she doesn’t like,” she said.

“I like a woman like that. I love female company anyway, I love a woman who knows her own mind.”

The talent on this years X factor AU is unbelievable !!! The worst acts are better than our best! Few of the under 22s and duet groups are phenomenal.

Is it just me who hates Adam as a judge?! I find him so rude and condescending, he doesn't seem to like anything :/ He made awful decisions too, I can't at him letting Maddison go.

The only act I'm rewllt excited for in the lives so far is Montage, which is a shame because the twlenr level seemed so sky high in auditions. The manufactured boy band could be good but they were a mess in the seat challenge, so it was a risk for Iggy to take them onwards.
