Variation on a theme
Had a phone call today which was a variation on the theme of "your computer is sending out error messages".
This call was supposedly from BT to say my broadband was indicating problems of some unspecified nature. The caller had an incredibly strong Indian accent but although I could understand him he could not understand me and just kept repeating the "your broadband is faulty" mantra. I've never known BT to pro-actively ring to say there is a fault and as far as I could tell there was not a fault as I was listening to an internet radio station at the time of the call. |
