Which do you prefer? Funnily enough I prefer bought ones.

I've worked at places in the past where the people on the lowest incomes went out every lunchtime to buy sandwiches/drinks etc probably adding up to around a fiver a day - who then returned to eat their lunch and spent most of the remaining break moaning they didn't have enough money. Making them at home would have been a fraction of the cost.

It always seemed a bit bizarre to me.

They all taste the same to me.

Home made, it's a waste of money buying bought ones.

Homemade. I can load it will the filling as I see fit, the shop bought ones are quite stingy at that plus incredibly expensive.

The shop ones are expensive but I don't have the variety of ingredients at home to make enough interesting ones.

Sometimes Home made but otherwise buy bought ones.

Usually home-made ones, although I sometimes buy a meal deal for my daughter as a treat, but not sandwiches - I find the wraps are more filling and packed full.

If I buy a wrap it's usually a hoisin duck one as they're lovely.

It depends, if I fancy something simple like a cheese sandwich I'd go home made every time. But I love the Christmas sandwiches we get every year with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing and I've never considered making one of them myself.

I don't have sandwiches often but seeing this thread has made me crave a corned beef sarnie (home made)

I normally have home made, but when i buy out i always try and get them from an actual sandwich shop rather than tesco or something. The pre-packaged ones are not nice.

I prefer home made unless it's M&S. I really am not being snobby but most other places don't butter the bread at all and barely any dressing, with M&S you get buttered bread/roll plenty of filling and it's very fresh tasting. Greggs doorstop with no butter and one slice of cheese and some soggy lettuce doesn't begin to match it.

Often bought but that may be that when I buy one I'm absolutely starving so anything would taste really good.

You are not being snobby, M&S are the best...

Home Made as shop brought ones are horrible and use cheap ingredients and seem to add mayonnaise to everything.

Homemade.
99.9% of the ones from the shop have either mayonnaise or salad cream in them, often mustard as well. I don't like any of those items.

The ones from the shop often have a high salt content.

Buying from the shop is a lot more expensive.

Both, I like the hosin duck wraps and the all-day breakfast sandwiches from Aldi.

When M&S had their half price sandwich day just before Christmas we filled the fridge and ate nothing else for about 3 days

I don't eat many sandwiches but it would have to be home made. A lot cheaper and I know exactly what is going in to it and whether it is clean or not.

My husband prefers home made. I have always had a 'thing' about shop bought sarnies. I love them, but I am fussy. I only like M&S or alternatively we have a new Co-op in town .... and their sarnies are blummin marvellous.
