Used to live right near an M&S and would sometimes get sandwiches from there. You mentioned doorstop ones - their doorstop chicken with sage and onion stuffing ones were amazing. Simple filling and all, but they put tons in and it's a winning combo. I think that either won sandwich of the year or they did as a retailer at around the time I used to get them, I remember there being some mention of it on the packaging.
