It does feel contrived, but the twist is interesting (so long as they end it in a week max), and I'm really engaged by these HMs, and I think the'll be able to hold the series well on their own.

I can't imagine them ending it in a week as they spent a shit load of money building a new house.

What are you enjoying about it?”
Quite a few interesting characters. Plenty of eye candy. Plenty of drama. Interesting twists.
I think it's been well-cast and well-planned. I don't think it matters that Andrew screwed it all up.
Almost for a first, I don't really like anyone in either house so far
Last year's was dull (until Marc O'Neal turned up), but at least we had some characters ... This lot seem like a bunch of Instagram celebs and Hollyoaks extras
No sense of personality – kind of housemates who already seem like they've got agents and acting coaches
Early days so I'll whisper it quietly but this has the potential to be the best C5 series yet.
The cast is a lot stronger than it looked on paper. It's bubbling along nicely in there, and you can't see there being too many dull moments.
The production is of course a shambles and has been for some time - but not sure it matters all that much at this point. There's a good show waiting to develop here, so I'm in for the duration to see where it takes us.
I am completely and utterly addicted. Love Jackson, Laytesha and Hughie. I just pray Jackson won't get big headed with the crowd reaction tonight. We need more live feed though with this lot...

Well. I think it's the Others twist that's making it work, it allows more subtle characters like Hughie to shine, where normally they'd be invisible in a larger group. All the Others (well, apart from Ryan) seem quite multi-faceted, because we're seeing them in an environment where they can't hide because it's such a small group - it's a final week-sized group, but in week one, and it's really interesting. I had really low expectations of the two house thing, and I think I've been proven completely wrong.
