If teams finish level on points, is it decided on head to head or on goal difference ?

Anyone know ?

Could be a good chance for Switzerland to gain a good advantage

Cheers, Chief. Much obliged.

Big opportunity for the Swiss now against the 10-men. Could be damage limitation now for the Albanians.

Surprised that so amny Albanians live in Switzerland.

Bearing in mind Switzerland is not in the EU.

Shaqiri aand Behrami getting booed as they are ethic Albanians.

Albanian goalie looks like Andy Murray.

What's the consensus on Shaqiri? Successful first season at Stoke or in the "room for improvement" box?

I am not sure about Switzerland. They are playing OK and winning but they seem to argue among themselves at the drop of a hat. Never a good sign.

albania defending well but surely a 2nd swiss goal is just a matter of time...

Not been impressed with the Swiss so far this game. Hardly any clear cut chances.

Perhaps worth noting that for teams finishing 3rd it's goal difference if they're level on points to decide the best 4 3rd place sides. Obviously can't be head to head for those, but I think there's been qualifying groups for either this or the World Cup in the past where they've thrown out the results versus the bottom team in each group and only counted results against the better teams. None of that here, and 1 win and 2 losses, with the win being a big win could well see you through.

Great save from Berisha!

Kilbane's right, aside from the mistake for the goal he's been excellent.

I still think there's a chance Albania could get something from this game, they're useful on the counter-attack.

So many players shoot straight at the keeper these days, what happened to hitting it into the corner of the goal ?

It was on The BBC that if the two teams playing in the Final Group Game draw and have identical records then the team with the least Red then Yellow Cards is placed higher, if those are the same then a Group Stage Penalty Shoot Out would decide the higher placed team

Berisha did really well, but how many chances have the Swiss blown, now?

Thank you

The Swiss should be trying to get a couple more goals as insurance

How many different occasions in major tournaments have brothers played against each other?

I remember the Boateng brothers doing so for Germany v Ghana at a World Cup, but other than that and today's match, I cannot think of other occasions, does anyone have more info?

Every team have so far looked superior to England technically

Bit harsh. Since the younger players have come in England have improved technically.
