It was horrendous, not a single intelligent point made from what I saw and terrible bias. ITV leading the way with the commentators and pundits.
I actually don't mind a little bias to be honest , for the home nations .

Robbie savage was meant to be bias in this game

That's why he was chosen

A bit unnecessary - shame. It's been a jovial and nice atmosphere till you butted in.

I wish England all the best against Russia.
Sorry I put £100 on the draw. Was going to win £200. To lose it to a flukey goal has pissed be off.

He is and he doesn't seem to care if he hurts another footballer.
Pipe down - he;s a physical, aggressive player but no more than that.

No terrible challenges in the game by anyone. The first three yellow cards the ref gave Slovakia players were never yellow card offences either.

Go on Youtube and watch Roy Keane's challenge on Alf-Inge Haaland or Graeme Souness' challenge on an Aberdeen player to see what a nasty, premeditated challenge is.

Of course Robson Kanu will get the credit for the goal, but Ledley helped turn the game back in Wales favour. They were starting to get over ran in the midfield, Joe Allen was excellent in the first half, but wasn't anywhere to be seen in the second half till the substitution. Ledley helped bring Allen back into the game and also steady the middle of the park.

Great start for Wales, now if England can get a win it puts both nations in strong positions to go through to the next round.

Dean Saunders is like having a fan on the panel. Nothing he says is insightful: "he's beat two players there". I mean really.

I hope we have the more balanced and intelligent perspective from John Hartson for the next Wales game.

Christ this is all going to get very embarrassing if the home nations all start doing better than us
Especially if the other home nations fans stay out of trouble and the Englamd fans are shown rioting every night on the news .

Brilliant win for Wales, fully deserved. Seeing that thug Skrtel down on his hunches at the end was worth it.

Have to laugh at all the bitter England fans complaining about the commentary. I thought Savage was pretty fair and tbh it's good to see a little bit of spirit and patriotism. Never see any England fans complaining about the dreadful pro-England bias we see the rest of the time.

It was a really good game.

Great result for Wales. Over half a century on from their last finals appearance.

So Pele was the last player to score against Wales in a major tournament

And Bale becomes the first player to score a goal for Wales since that World Cup

Correct . As I said before a little home nation bias is acceptable IMHO.

I'm actually with people who like a bit of bias. It feels more natural. I'd expect any Welsh commentator to have a bias, same for England though really.

Well done, fantastic team performance. England could learn a thing or two from them (but they wont).

Wel said!

Some of these pansies on this thread should try watching a game from the seventies or eighties. Supporters have gone totally soft.

Stuart Pearce was never classed as a dirty player but I remmeber some of his crunchingly hard tackles.

I preferred listening to the alternative Radio 5 live/Radio Wales John Hartson commentary, might as well go the whole hog

It's a good job Serbia aren't at the championships

I can see Wales qualifying from this group as they only need a point from the last two games

They may already have enough to get through.

Great match, Wales need to tighten up at the back but were great otherwise. I watched this in a pizza place in Poland with my French friend who was also cheering for my home country. I am insanely glad we won and have high hopes that we will win against Russia, and hopefully against England too.
